He's a dead number all right. Ben is not going to agree to anything. The records and his abdication-renunciation of his citizenship are right here on Wittenberg. Print them off and show them to the Face Book people if you think it will do any good but I doubt it. Until someone has the time, money and desire to hire an attorney and deal with this issue he will continue to work on destroying anything he does not control. Laws, Facts and Elections be damned. Do not be surprised if he goes after this Wittenberg site next. Maybe the owners of Proboards are less willing to take sides in an alleged trademark dispute at the first shot, unlike those FaceBook guys who apparently didn't even care to ask if the complaint about your stuff was justified. Anyway, saving all records of the historical moments when Ben abicated and gave up on all his claims, and keeping this stored in many instances, might be a brilliant idea, my fellow "North Talossan" friends.

Um...
I really, really doubt Ben would agree to anything.

I don't think that matters, we are a sovereign nation, and under international law aren't beholden to US copyright law or international law, unless we've signed treaties that I don't know about. Adam

Captain Preston has it right. Ben has demonstrated that he is willing to lie, distort and deny the very truths that are open for all to see right here in this forum. He is unwilling and incapable of coming into the public arena to defend his claims. He knows the truth, he just cannot accept it. For those Talossan's unaware of Ben's persona I encourage you to give him a call, send him an e-mail, write him a letter. Try to engage him in rational and logical thought. He can be a very pleasant and charming fellow....until the mask falls off. Talossa has morphed into something more than what it first began as. To some that is a good thing, to others not so much. But the old adage is true "the first sign of growing old is the inability to change" and Ben has grown so very old.

I saw that too, I tried to contact him on facebook about something unrelated, the copyright dispute and all this got brought up, and now he's ignoring me. It's sad really, we would take him back if he would apologize, and change his ways, but as they say "It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks." -- Adam

...and it's not because you're not intelligent, lazy, stupid. But you *are* one of the great many Talossans who came to the Kingdom after Ben and Amy left in 2005. This coming June, I will have known Ben Madison for ten years and as someone who has had extensive dealings with him in the personal and political arenas. And I can tell you he is as petty and vindictive as he ever has been. We are talking about someone who for no good reason sought to get another Talossan (Kane Gruber) thrown out of the Kingdom. He even stated he would resort to testifying against Gruber in the latter's child-custody proceedings if it came to it. I strongly suggest you and the two-thousand other new Talossans (or so it seems) visit www.oracla.com (username: readoracla - password: andbehappy), go to the Oracla Press section, and read "A Nation Sundered". It is the best history of the events that led to the establishment of the Republic penned so far. Ben Madison is bright, creative, and witty. He is a downright genius. And when you deal with Ben Madison, you will get burned.
