I don't know how much trouble I'm going to get myself into here now that I'm a Minister again, but here goes;
Following on from the recent Hopper discussions on the same topic, this is an attempt to start the convention of Questions to the Executive.
If the Most Honorable Iusti Canun would take time to humour me?
1) I actually ask this question as it may fall into the remit of the Culture Ministry. It is now just about August and I don't see any real plans for this years TalossaFEST. Are we really going to allow for the 30th anniversary of Talossa to go without our traditional annual celebration? Does the executive have any plans on organizing this event yet?
2) During the election one of the main talking points was stamps and currency. Does this administration have a solid plan to overcome the possible obstacle of copyright infringments? More importantly, can the citizens expect to see currency and/or stamps during this term of government or are we in another term of planning?

*rises* I thank the Rt Hon. Member for kick-starting this convention of questioning, and I hope that you, M:sr Tuischac'h, and your colleague the Lord President, will regulate it appropriately.
M:sr Tuischac'h,
Will the Prime Minister comply with 39RZ16 and publish regular reports on governmental activity, and if so, through what medium will those reports be communicated?
*sits down*

*rises and clears throat*
I would like to further comment on the matter risen by S:r Ursum. I have extended an invitation to the Most Honorable Seneschal from the privatley operated Stil da Vida website to use the website as his publishing medium. I have offered to set up a dedicated page for the Seneschal's use primarily for displaying the reports required by 39RZ16.
In answering S:r Ursum's question regarding complying with 39RZ16, may you also alert us if you are planning on accepting my invitation?
*sits back down in the Cosa chamber, ass on his FGP seat and feet up on his PP seat.*

I thank the distinguished MZ's for kicking off this questioning session. It is asked that the government respond to these, and all other questions submitted on or before August 14th questions by the end of the August Clark, being August 21st at 11:59PM TST. All questions submitted after August 14th, 2009 can either be answered after the 21st of August or ignored, provided that they be answered at the next session.
Thank You

M:sr Speaker,
a quick Point of Cosa. Would I be right in thinking that if a Minister is not a member of either house of the Ziu, that they may ask someone who is to deliver their response on their behalf?

Well, I see on the website where TFest '06 was as late as September, so there's still hope. I'm not really sure who plans the thing, though. But based on the last couple of TalossaFests on the website, it seems to be Sir Fritz's department. Well, we do have stamp designs floating around on Witt somewhere. (Don't remember where at the moment, but there was a discussion about the use of the term "Talossa," since it's a copyright, and they were modified to not have the word on them.) As for the coins, I believe we may be in another term of planning, yes.

To answer the honorable gentleman's Point of the Ziu [as the term must also refer to the Senats] I would tell him that ministers to whom questions are addressed, or their deputy, must answer the question posed to them, even if they hold no seats in the Ziu.

Speaking for the Prime Ministry and the Seneschal as Distain, I believe I can help field some of these. Obviously the Seneschal may correct me on any specific point, but unless the boss says otherwise: I actually ask this question as it may fall into the remit of the Culture Ministry. It is now just about August and I don't see any real plans for this years TalossaFEST. Are we really going to allow for the 30th anniversary of Talossa to go without our traditional annual celebration? Does the executive have any plans on organizing this event yet? There are obvious difficulties with the matter. Relatively few Talossans live in the area of the Talossan mainland. It is being investigated with high hopes, however, and I feel sure we will see some development. *rises and clears throat* I would like to further comment on the matter risen by S:r Ursum. I have extended an invitation to the Most Honorable Seneschal from the privatley operated Stil da Vida website to use the website as his publishing medium. In answering S:r Ursum's question regarding complying with 39RZ16, may you also alert us if you are planning on accepting my invitation The Prime Ministry will not be utilizing any privately-held medium to fulfill the MiB2. Will the government be fulfilling the MIB II act? Yes. The government is devoted to upholding every Talossan statute.

S:r Distain,
The questions regarding 39RZ16 have not been answered. I think this is just because of some minor confusion over the Act numbering.
MIBII was passed in the 38th Cosa and is regarding financial matters. 39RZ16 was the recently passed act requiring the PM to issue a report on governmental and Caninet activity. So, I must ask again, will the government be issuing the reports through the private website of Stil da Vida?

Mister Speaker,
What does the Saneshal offer as justification for the near total lack of activity of his government?
I yield the floor.

Also: What plans does the Government have... if any, for future Talossan development. I have seen little to know RUMP legislation being put out. What's with that?

Maybe the RUMP thinks things are pretty hunky-dory, and don't want to muddy the waters with Legislation that makes un-needed changes, or even worse, achieves nothing? I think term is " If it ain't broke, don't fix it".
