After launching on this work, my new hope is to eventually produce a book of history. For a long time, purchase of a history book on Talossa was a requirement for citizenship, and a new work not copyrighted (and subsequently "thrown away") by Robert I will allow us to institute that again. I certainly wouldn't want to be continually teaching this course.

Okay... but I just don't know what you're talking about. I'm talking about Viteu's TNP (Talossan News Project).

Yes... it's a very good podcast. You had me confused for a minute there; I thought he had started a history and civics project of his own. I was all excited to steal his work!

I have completed what is essentially the finished version of the Timeline, which will be used as the basis for the history portions and the spine of a future book of history. There will be minor revisions (especially orthographic) and I'm sure I will discover some mistakes, but for now here it is. I had no Republican help despite my requests to them, so I will be asking Seneschal Ventrutx to take a look to provide more detail and corrections.

this is great, you have a lot of the area where I was upset with Ben and stepping back from Talossa. It will be a long project but I have a history re-write going now (rough outline farther behind than yours) but I discovered that a rewrite wasn't what was needed but a total adjustment in the presentation. I am toying with a fully interactive timeline with video and sound clips and scans of articles and documents of the time.... just talking out loud now We will see how real it can be in a few weeks.

The penultimate draft is finished, and I will be sending it out for comment later today. Currently I am sending a copy to Lord Hooligan, Sir Cresti, and Seneschal Ventrutx, since they have expressed an interest in helping me with this. If anyone else wants a chance to comment, then please let me know.

I am 38 pages into the new textbook, and now calling for interested people to contact me if they are willing and able to write on a specific section. I am aiming to have drafts in from contributors in a few weeks, and to release the book in about two months.
My current outline is below. Sections that are already taken care of are stricken through, with the prospective author listed immediately below in bold. Anything not stricken does not have a volunteer to work on it yet. Anything not written by a contributor will be written by me. All work will be credited.
Please contact me if you are seriously interested in helping.
