Honourable Regent of the U.,
I am thinking of offering my services to conduct a course in our national language, if sufficient interest exists (I propose it be measured by this thread, so post here if interested, people) and if my credentials are deemed acceptable by this honourable and esteemed institution.
Most sincerely, Baron Hooligan

I would intertested in this course. Actually, I think it is necessary for me to attend such a course, I'm finding it difficult learning the language by myself.

I have submitted a draft syllabus to the Regent of the University and await word on whether the course is approved. If so, I'll come up with a schedule for getting it underway.
As for audit status, that will definitely be available, and in fact, it may be all that is available for this course, if the University allows such a thing.

I have submitted a draft syllabus to the Regent of the University and await word on whether the course is approved. The syllabus has been approved, but I presume that Lord Hooligan is waiting for the currently offered language course to end. Is that the case? As for audit status, that will definitely be available, and in fact, it may be all that is available for this course, if the University allows such a thing. I believe that we discussed this when the syllabus was submitted. I am of the opinion that offering grades to students encourages more participation. Students who deserve it should be given a letter grade. However, auditing a class is a possible option. No one should be turned away from the free education offered on campus.

I apologize for my recent absence from Witt; it's a self-imposed "not until I finish the proofing of the Guizua and get it available for sale will I even dare getting myself busy with other things" vow. That (also, and perhaps even more understandably) is holding up my attention to this particular thread and the job it represents me (one beer-filled night, probably) volunteering to do.

Take your time, Lord Hooligan. We will soon have an interesting course being offered in the History Department. That will give you more time to get prepared. Please sign up if you are interested in enrolling.
I would be happy to assist you in any way once you are ready to give lessons. I'm not sure if I have made it official in this thread, but I am also interested in signing up for this course. There is absolutely no rush, though.
