It is with great sadness that I tell you that King John's mother, Jeanne Woolley, died unexpectedly this morning. The King is out of town so I am taking the liberty of announcing the sad news.
May the Angels lead thee into Paradise and the Martyrs receive thee at thy coming and bring thee into the holy city Jerusalem. May the choirs of Angels receive thee, and mayest thou, with Lazarus once poor, have everlasting rest.
Arrangements have not been made as yet. Please pray for King John and his family and friends and for the repose of the soul of our Beloved Jeanne.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of the Queen Mother.
I acknowledge how difficult and painful a time this must be for His Majesty the King and to the Kingdom. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
The Queen Mother was undoubtedly a kind and gentle soul. I know how much the King will miss the Queen Mother. I encourage His Majesty to draw on His strength and the strength of your family, and your loyal subjects.
May God bless the Queen Mother, your Majesty and your family during this time and always.
Sincerely,
Tony Weckström DPD MC Ex-Royal Ambassador to the Republic of Finland

Wow, this is terrible news.
I pray for the King in his time of need, and hope that His Majesty is taking it ok. We all know she's doing fantastic now.
God bless you King John, and your mother. This is truly a tragedy.

It was a long time since I posted here.
I offer the condelences of the Republic of Talossa to King John and the Royal Family in this hour of distress and deep grief. May the King and his family find succour in their faith and consolation from each other to help them through this difficult time.
And to be less formal: I'm so sorry for your loss! A terrible blow.

I don't know how to put my sympathetic grief into words. I am so sorry, John. May this be a time of the celebration of her life and a time of bringing forth old memories of her greatness.

Oh God John, I'm sorry. The loss of our parents exposes our own mortality. Now, faith and family.

My sympathy, King John and everyone in your family. All we can hope is that those who deceased didn't have to suffer in the moment of their death, and that they'll find what they believed in.

Thank you Ian, and also D.N. Thank you for sharing your condolences with us all. Even though we disagree on some things, we can all agree that this is terrible. Mortality... You are two very respectable men. You guys should really try to help merge the Kingdom and Republic back. Although we most likely can't agree to your terms, I'm sure we could come up with something that we can all like... at least a little. Your actions were totally acceptable in my opinion, but things are different now. (King John)
