Oy...all right, from now on, we have "Our" Cresti and we'll just call you "Sir" Cresti.

Seeing as though you've fairly swept the vote, I offer an early congratulations!
Will the lack of vote by S:reu (Chancellor) Cresti be counted against him? Since we're in a transitional period of government right now should we be following what we have written of the new constitution?
I would also like to offer my services as Viceré, should I be worthy of such a recomendation to His Majesty.

Well, since the voting has ended and I have the majority anyway, it looks like I am the new Maestro of Benito. Sweet.
Before we move further, let me assure the rest of the Corporative Chamber that the lack of a vote by Chancellor Cresti shall not count against him since we are, as Mataiwos said, we are in a period of transition.
Let's focus all of our efforts on the constitution!

Chancellors,
Because we have an important task ahead of us, rather than close, we will extend our legislative session until November 24 at midnight. The purpose will be for members of the CC (soon to be the Provincial Chancellery) to cast their votes on the final draft of the Constitution located in the Constitutional Convention thread. I want 100% participation on this vote, so I think we are providing ample time. If the draft passes, we will put it up for referendum so that all citizens of Benito may vote.

I would like to cast my vote for the new Constitution as a resounding ÜC.

After careful review, I also vote Uc. My only regret is that I wasn't around to partake in greater development of the process.
Question though... if we receive full participation of the C.C. prior to the final date, can we just go about business and vote on the constitution?

Well, my thought is to merely let the session run out so as not to set a precedent of ending voting sessions early. This also allows everyone the opportunity to change their vote before the 24th.

Well, my thought is to merely let the session run out so as not to set a precedent of ending voting sessions early. This also allows everyone the opportunity to change their vote before the 24th. While I respect this, I do have a question- is it really needed? Quite frankly, I don't see why we cannot set in action a movement within the PC to end voting early, seeing as all those assigned seats have already voted. I cannot see a reason why one would change their vote, and if we get, say, an 80% majority on stopping voting and begining the referendum phase. May Chancellors begin proposing legislation at this point?

I see your point. I personally recommend we begin our regular legislative sessions after the constitution is passed. If you wish to put something forward, I'm all for it.
I move this session be closed and votes recorded effective Friday the 14th at midnight, with polls opening for the approved draft on the Constitution at 1201, Saturday the 15th and running through Wednesday the 26th of November at midnight.
