¡Ay, demasiada siesta! Alright, Maricopans. It's time we started getting ourselves organised. With any luck, Capt. Preston will Clark that provincial unshackling bill pretty soon, and we'll have to write ourselves a nice constitution.

Why the Spanish Sir Cresti? Because 1) Maricopa is Talossa's southwest (before it became a province it was called the Southwest Territories), which is why it is named for an Indian tribe and county in Arizona, and 2) Latin America, the Iberian peninsula, and most of the southwestern United States are in Maricopa's geographic zone, which means the great majority of native Spanish and Portuguese speakers in Talossa have been affiliated with Maricopa.

¡Que bueno! I've been thinking it might be nice, considering the provincial assignment rules, for Maricopa to have Spanish as a third official language. Just as French has had a special status (albeit unofficially, I think) in Cézembre.

Interesting, I like the idea.

Thats an awsome Idea, Spanish is the second best of all latinate languages ('cept for Italian, although being Italian Australian I have a enduring cultural bias ). Plus, no matter when you speak it or what you are saying, it sounds as if someone with a guitar should be standing behind you to play a quick flamenco riff at the end of every sentence. Cannae get more cultural that that

The population is 12, with one being a Dandelion (only 2 years old). A couple have been out of touch for a while, and are almost certain to strike out in the next election. Within the next several days, I hope to post a draft provincial constitution, based on a draft from the late 1990s, for us to start discussing.

BTW, if you're still interested in Talossan journalism, I know Dréu Gavárþic'h is still looking for people to help out with the Talossan Voice.
