Azul, members of the Corperative Chamber, amidst the revelry of the passing of the flag bill, name change bill, and our first ever provincial constitution, we face one more task before our new government, and this reborn province actually come to life- the election of the Maestro.
Please note, that S:da deWinter has previously held this office, but I have notified her via email that this office is vacant and she will keep the office of Maestro.
According to La Constituziun Provinçù, the Maestro is elected by:
Section Two, Part i:
The Election of the Maestro: The Maestro shall be elected in a Parliamentary from the members of the Corporative Chamber. Upon election, the Maestro gives up all previous seats he held and those seats are then reallocated to the party from whence they came. The Maestro must receive a majority vote of 51% to ascend to the office of Maestro. Anybody in the Corperative Chamber may announce cannidacy, and those canidates will be represented on a ballot, prepared by the outgoing Maestro. Should there be no outgoing Maestro, the Cunstaval shall run elections. Should no members announce candidacy, or the event of another tie, the preceding Maestro may appoint a successor of his or her choice to fill the position. Once the Maestro has been elected, or a successor appointed, the Cunstaval must ratify the election with his or her approval. If the Cunstaval disapproves, the Corperative Chamber shall vote again and can override the Cunstaval with a 80% popular vote. Should this not happen, being either an override or another Cunstaval veto, the province will enter into a period of interregnum in which there is no Maestro and the province is run soley by the Corperative Chamber.
Thus, the canidacy period is now open, we will begin voting in approximately one week.
I announce myself to be a canidate for election.
Canidates for the Office of Maestro:
~Matáiwos Vürinalt (LRT)
~Éovart Caçeir (LRT)
