I was actually a part of this discussion, as you may have seen... I just didn't count on a discussion involving the revival of an old cabinet Ministry digressing into racism. Additionally, I've heard "Ar Pats" is a book that one must purchase, if I am correct, and I'm not particularly sure if I should base my knowledge of our nation off of what the "Talossan Glossary" calls "biased, inaccurate, and untrustworthy". I should probably still read it, though... would you happen to know if a .PDF is avalible?

Oh, and I must add- we don't at all consider you "stupid". That is not the intent at all.
Perhaps we can answer questions, and let you discover paths to further your Talossan History knowledge.
Trust me, *I* am still learning.
(And I would thank King John for not commenting on that last statement )

These constant... "instances" which I was not aware of have made me... skeptical of the competence of my own party. Originally, I believed the criticism of the L.R.T. stemmed from the party's "inexperience" (I personally do not believe that longevity and experience are necessarily synonymous), but with so many... rash comments being made by the person who's job it is to represent our party to the members of this Kingdom, I must begin to asses if the L.R.T. is truly the political party I want to be a part of. Although I side with many other members of the L.R.T. on many issues, the harsh statements of a leading member of the party could very well effect the party's reputation with the entire Kingdom....
I will be contacting Dreu regarding all of these comments, asking for an explanation. If such... "misguided" comments persist, I will be seriously considering revoking my membership to the L.R.T. (although, they already have my vote, so I'm not too sure how much it really matters).
I know my actions seem very turbulent at the moment, and please forgive me for seeming indecisive, but these occurances were largely unknown to me (largely due to chronic studying for finals and such), and as I become aware of them, I more and more want to distance myself from the statements of one of the top officials within my party, which might thus result in the distancing of myself from the entire party.

Now, let me add this...
Your Party leader is a most Honorable man. Brenéir Tzaracompradâ is a person I want to meet over breakfast (Waffle House, Hash browns 8 ways, fully loaded...ahem.. I digress). He is well learned, quick to laugh, quick to respond in a debate with a logical retort. He is also quite astute in his comments.
Just understand why others might arch an eyebrow, turn a shoulder, not offer to pick up the check, yada, yada, yada because you wear the LRT badge. Others that carry that same nameplate... well, have trod hard on toes of others.
Honestly, I personally am glad that The Kingdom has become a multi-political entity. I think we need as much conversation about policy as possible.
What I am trying to say... is that we need to let all new Ctiz an opportunity to see ALL of the parties- not just the first one to the post.

There's a reason Dreu has had an apology in his signature virtually since he came to the country. But S:reu Tzaracomprada is a decent guy, and the Secretary is right about him. Don't be quick to discard your party, just maybe... well, I'm not sure what the solution is.

Wow. I am amazed at the events of the past twelve hours. First, I want to thank S:reu Preston for his kind words and I will take that offer for breakfast (with fully loaded omelets...as that is one of my favorite kind). Also, to Carrie and Mick don't forget our pilgrimmage to Graceland. LOL . Second, when I set out the priorities of the Defense Ministry in the LRT platform I never referred to the current Minister I merely stated what would happen under a LRT Defense Minister. It was not an attack on anyone, in fact, that section of the platform actually compliments the RUMP on some jobs that they have done well. Third, Mataiwos, I will say that I was delighted that you chose the LRT but i am worried that you are feeling some discomfort associating yourself with the LRT. I would not want for you to feel a lessened sense of personal integrity from your association with us. I can assume that you previously read our platform and you know what we stand for and know that every member of the party is honorable and wants to move Talossa forward. Fourth, I am really proud of the team that has grown up around the ideals of the LRT and at least on my part I can only hope that my actions make my team proud. Breneir

He is well learned, quick to laugh, quick to respond in a debate with a logical retort. He is also quite astute in his comments. I've no objections to this. S:reu Tzaracompradâ is an honourable, competent, and great man. I also agree with the statements made by many other members of the L.R.T., and I believe that many members of the L.R.T. are great people. But if the radical opinions of one party member is going to tarnish the reputations of everyone in the party, it's something I'd rather remove myself from. Don't be quick to discard your party, just maybe... well, I'm not sure what the solution is. I don't intend to discard my party, and perhaps the wording of my prior statements made me seem more... "disapproving" than I really am. I merely meant to assert that if the comments of S:reu Gavárþic'h come to tarnish the reputation of the entire party, I do intend to protect my own good name. I personally think the L.R.T. is a competent entity filled with some very good minds, but if that is outweighed by outlandish accusations of racism and bloodlust (by servicemen and women) by one party member, I do not intend to be a part of it. I'm Éovart ;D ;D ;D. First I want to state that my comments were a bit harsh, I'm sorry for that. I did read the party platform and staunchly agree with everything described in it, but my concern is about the radical statements made by such an important member of the party. If these continued statements and accusations by S:reu Gavárþic'h (all of which I disagree with) are portrayed as L.R.T. ideologies, it's not only a threat to my own personal integrity, but our party's integrity. I'm sorry for making such hasty threats, I've no intention of leaving the L.R.T., unless I'm branded as a racist and anti-military just for being a part of it.

Remember how that was a joke...hence the " "? My goodness...if Xhorxh took it that way I apologize profusely! I consider Xhorxh a good friend! The joke was, that German soldiers during World War II walked very, in my eyes, silly. I hope that this was not misconstrued as an insult.

Oh, trust me...
at first his comments were taken as Party line, or LRT agenda. But after much discussion, we realize that it's a personal opinion that he is stating. Now, whenever he makes controversial posts. We collectively roll our eyes (now) and mutter...
"It's just Dreu being Dreu".
I, for one, don't think any the less of the LRT for having Dreu as a member. Every Party has people in their membership that make them cringe.
Just ask Hooligan.

Wow. Did I use the wrong name? I totally apologise, and blame only the fact that I wanted to be sure to get the spelling right, so I copy/pasted it, and I must have copy/pasted from the wrong area of the post, unwittingly. Mea culpa!
