The following information relates to the latest demographic and market segmentation information for the Greater Talossan Area as well as the individual provinces other than Cézembre.
As of 2007, the Cestoûr population of the Greater Talossan area is 39876. The populations of the various provinces are Atatürk 5601, Florenciâ 2517, Maricopa 12271, Maritiimi-Maxhestic 6727, Mussolini 6808, and Vuode 5952.
The method for dividing the provinces by KR1 and other Talossans in the mid 1990s timeframe appears to have been derived from utilizing the US Commerce Department block group definitions for the 1990 Census, thus I have used polygons from that data source in defining the provincial areas for this analysis. The various provinicial constitutions may have differing definitions of their political boundaries, but for the purposes of statistics these data should capture the information from 2000 Census Blocks, which have been arranged in slightly different Block Groups, as well as for the projections for the current year and the year 2012.
I have generated a detailed report for each province and the GTA for demographics and income, market profile, market potential in sports and leisure, consumer expenditures on recreation, the business summary for each area as well as the retail market potential, a site map, and the tapestry market segmentation for the area. These may be found at

The majority of Cestoûrs (65.1%) in the Greater Talossan Area may be classified in the market segmentation group "Metro Renters". This type composes 77.4% of Florenciâ Cestoûrs, 78.5% of Maricopa Cestoûrs, 100% of Maritiimi-Maxhestic Cestoûrs, 19.7% of Mussolini Cestoûrs, and 63.4% of Vuode Cestoûrs.
Metro Renters residents are young (approximately 30 percent are in their 20s), well educated singles beginning their professional careers in some of the largest U.S. cities such as New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles. The median age is 33.6 years; the median household income is $52,300. As the name Metro Renters implies, most residents are renting apartments in high-rise buildings, living alone or with a roommate. Their interests include traveling, reading two or more daily newspapers, listening to classical music and public radio programs, and surfing the Internet. For exercise, they work out regularly at clubs, play tennis and volleyball, practice yoga, ski, and jog. They enjoy dancing, attending rock concerts, going to museums or the movies, and throwing a Frisbee. Painting and drawing are favorite hobbies. Politically, this market is liberal.
The next highest market segmentation group in the GTA are the "College Town" type which make up 21.2% of the total Cestoûrs. This is the leading type in Atatürk and Mussolini composing 38.1% and 67.4% of Cestoûrs respectively. This category also makes up 15.2% of Maricopa Cestoûrs and 22.6% of Florenciâ Cestoûrs.
Education is the key focus for College Towns residents. College and graduate school enrollment is approximately 41 percent. The median age for this market is 24.5 years, with a high concentration of 18–24-year-olds. One out of eight residents lives in a dorm on campus. Students in off-campus housing rent low-income apartments. Approximately 31 percent of the households are typically town residents who live in owner-occupied, single-family dwellings. The median home value is $132,900. Convenience is the primary consideration for food purchases; residents frequently eat out, order in, or eat easy-to-prepare food. Many own a laptop computer. In their leisure time, they jog, go horseback riding, practice yoga, play tennis, rent videos, play chess or pool, attend concerts, attend college football or basketball games, and go to bars. They listen to classical music and public radio programs.
The other market segmentation types found within the GTA include 3.6%
"Metropolitans", 3.6% "Laptops and Lattes", 2.3% "Social Security Set", 2.1% "Dorms to Diplomas", and 2.0% "Trendsetters". For more information on these market types, please refer to
