The goal of the University is to welcome incoming students in January 2007. Thus far there are a limited number of applicants for faculty positions, however, any shall be accepted as we move forward. To those who have expressed interest, an initial placement will be made on or before July 1, 2006, and proposals for initial class forms and syllabus shall be requested on or before October 1, 2006 for review.

I would again encourage anyone of Talossan or Berber heritage to post their vitae at www.linkedin.com towards their recognition of positions within the faculty. I have received a number of inquiries over the past several months, and will endeavor to sort those out soon, but I encourage additional applications - you literally have the opportunity to create your own department or specialty within the University system. I will be asking for allocation of a land grant from the États de Cézembre as the new session begins, and perhaps there is a budding architect or planner who would like to begin the process of the layout of the campus facilities and then take on chairmanship or deanship of a college of the same, or perhaps we can setup a college of design and have the students create the campus as we go along.

As a putative citizen, I'd like to offer my services for some sort of theology or philosophy module.

I offer my services as a sociology or psychology course. Additionally, I could even teach speech and debate.

Presumably at least an accredited degree will be required to teach, if I am correct, Chancellor?

Presumably at least an accredited degree will be required to teach, if I am correct, Chancellor? If that is the case then I will only enroll as a student when I can.

Presumably at least an accredited degree will be required to teach, if I am correct, Chancellor? If that is the case then I will only enroll as a student when I can. Stream of conciousness notes follow The mission statement of the University needs to be written, but I should think that anyone who can present a credible experience in a given topic area, whether by degree, work experience, long term hobby, avid research, etc should have their work considered by who completes a given course. While I am at home (unfortunately with the flu) this holiday season, I shall attempt to get some things in order. I have had one project simmering regarding Geography, and others have mentioned various subjects. My goals would be to make sure courses would not be as slow as my efforts thus far, but certainly at a more measured pace than the average university semester to allow for the vagaries of the variety of modern life, but at the same time implementing some kind of progress. Let me establish a basic web page this weekend, with the opportunity to post classroom material, and a lecture hall (chat room) that can be scheduled for interaction between teacher and student(s). Let us envision the day following this election period, Jan 15 2008 as a date for announcement of available classes and registration to take place during the latter half of January, with Ground Hog Day being the first official day of classes (one primary and one alternate class meeting per month). I will prepare a site post haste. XPB
