I wish, MC Briga, you had said something about this during the ample time available while the bill was hoppered and available for discussion. I would have amply defended each provision, and in fact would have done so now if you had said something prior to simply voting against it.

Hi, all...

I wanna ask:
37RZ14 is (infact a package) about abolishing of 3 older laws. But i am fine with smoking ban(34RZ7). Maybe we can change it instead of abolishing it ( we can lift smoking ban in some bars maybe). You know, if we lift this ban then this means we take the freedom of breathing fresh air of non-smoking people this time.


So I want to accept this package(37RZ14 ) partially. What should we(I) do?

I suggest we break the law offer into pieces and than vote for them separately(maybe later)!

Suggestions such as this (to split a bill into multiple parts) would need to be made while the bill is in the "Hopper", before it is submitted to the legislature for consideration. At this point, with the bill now submitted in its current form, the only thing left is to vote on it. You are free to vote Për or Contrâ, or to abstain on the question, but those are the only options.

For what it's worth, the government (which always makes a speech about the bills that are being voted on, but I've noticed that the ne'er-do-well Prime Minister is a bit late with it this month) supports the bill in its current form.

My esteemed fellow member is advised that no, the Prime Minister doesn't smoke. He finds no time or interest for it, apparently, between drinks.

So maybe he's not quite NE'ER-doing-well, I suppose. :-)
