College of Arms Announces Design Competition
Will award 1000 Talossan Bens to citizen submitting winning design.[/i][/font]
6. Zecemvár 2005 - Vuode [UTI] - The Royal Talossan College of Arms today announced a competition to design an official decoration to be awarded to Cnec'hts és Damâs receiving "L'Urðëri dal Naziun". The prize will be 1000 Talossan Ben's, to be credited to the account of the Talossan citizen whose design is selected by the Fellows of the College of Arms.
L'Urðëri dal Naziun, or the Order of the Nation, is one of the most exclusive orders of Chivalry. Unfortunately, the award has gone for over a quarter of a century without an official decoration. The Dean of the College announced the competition today both to fix this oversight and to generate national interest in the award.
In a press conference today announcing the competition, the Dean of the College said, "Talossa is a proud nation of customs and traditions, and this is one tradition that should be more visible. We hope that our creative citizens will generate many ideas to celebrate this distinction. Basically, we need a graphic to show the world this great honour." The winning entry will be displayed proudly on many pages on the Kingdom's web site.
