Sir Fritz says he'd like arms designed for himself. (And since he has a bunch of sons in the Kingdom, they'll get differenced arms themselves kind of automatically, right?) Squirrel, Jaune Sabre, gentlemen, how do we proceed?

Blanc Wolf -
Before real life interrupted, I started composing a note to Sir Fritz to ask him about this. I'll get on it and cc you. If any of our Fellows want to start the project - now is the time to volunteer!
I'm thinking we may see a Napoleonic Eagle and several books.

And maybe a field argent honeycombed sable? (That's herald-talk for a white background with a black grid of hexes.)
Sir Fritz, what sorts of things do you think of that you'd like to see depicted or symbolically referred to on your arms? (No, not those arms, your Coat of Arms.)

I don't know if it's a usual heraldic charge, but over the argent honeycombed sable, how about this: Baron Hooligan OAF of the College of Arms

Good hat. Didn't Napoleon's have ribbons? Short guy, too.
This idea of Wargames isn't one I think I quite get. It's not exactly like chess, no? Played on a board with complex rules and figurines like those used in D&D, more like?
So what all does one take into consideration when thinking these things up? Do we add Prime Ministery things, like bowlers hats and...what else do Prime Ministers have? Or is it more important that it just looks really cool?

I hope we can get this done for Sir Fritz by the 17th. The ideas we have so far are a Napoleonic eagle (can you just blazon that as "Napoleonic eagle") and books. Swords or daggers are other possible elements. A chess piece of some kind might be a nice symbol of gaming. Does Sir Fritz have any preference regarding colors?

I hope we can get this done for Sir Fritz by the 17th. Indeed! I've been in consultation with Sir Fritz, and we are discussing and finalizing designs. The ball is in my court -- all I need is time with the graphics program. Stand by for details. BTW: Since Sir Fritz was knighted, he doesn't need to be on the list for honours. Independence Day Honours are granted to the gentry (like me and Cresti) desiring arms. -- Jaune Sabre Herald
