I have to check my snail-mail box when I get home... I mailed my ballot to the SoS. At least someone is casting a snail-mail ballot this time! I hope yours arrives on time.

And...with scants hours left in the election...the LRT look to be taking the local government of Maritiimi-Maxhestic! This is a MAJOR shock! Well, no... But 50/50 isn't half bad, either. Alexander, until you see on that list that that untrustworthy Mick Preston has voted, don't count your eggs, for some may be afflicted by cold draughts and terminate!

64 votes -- not bad! My expectation was that the number of ballots cast would fall in the 60-65 range, so we were at the high end of that. Of the 37 previous Cosa elections, I believe turnout in 18 of them was higher, turnout in 18 was lower, and turnout in one (the June 2004 election) is unknown. So this was the median election in turnout terms, which is pretty good considering that the population was so much higher than in any previous election.
