Your results page is beautifully rendered. It might look a bit utilitarian, but the information is more than comprehensive and gets the job done. Bravo! GV, former Republic SoS

Just don't read the 1st Section.
Then it's a secret ballot!

GV, former Republic SoS On to the secret ballot... :-) GV My original thoughts on the secret ballot were that it was unecessary, I know see that it may be more than necessary. In the past few days I have heard several complaints by people about "this person voting this way" and "this person didn't vote" so they're angry at those people. Also, historically, public ballots are a tool of tyrants...we don't want people to think our government is tyrannical!

Dreu-
If it were secret, what would keep an unsavory SoS from stating that all those people that didn't vote (the 3, 2, and even 1 strikers) DID vote.
And guess what?
All of them voted for the Black Hand Party!
But the SoS doesn't have to release the votes, because it's super secret?

And, would you be so kind as to not take another one of my threads, veer it off course, and muck it up?
If you want to have secret ballots, get thee to the Hopper.

"This person didn't vote" is a valid reason to complain, because sustained failure to vote equals loss of citizenship. And no one would want a fellow Talossan to lose such a good thing! I am always happy when another Talossan votes, no matter who they vote for.
