I've just noticed this on the Wiki (it's probably here somewhere as well): "Further, no cultural works intended for directly political purposes are considered."

Does that mean that Talomat would not qualify (assuming it was developed after enlistment)? What about polls, articles, analyses on political matters? (edit: interviews? election night talk shows?)

If all or most of those would qualify, can you explain that restriction better? I can't think of many other cultural works for political purposes.

None of those would be barred. I will clarify the phrasing a bit, but the restriction is intended to cover material promoting a specific political party. For example, a series of images and posters asking people to vote for the RUMP would not qualify. All of the things above that you listed would be fine.
