I have said yesterday that upon reading this... manifesto (?), I felt so distraught, shattered, angry and disappointed that I had to coin a new word in Talossan, ämreçh, because I did not feel that any language accurately could reflect how I felt with one word. I was asked by our Seneschal to explain why I felt so strongly about this; fair enough, I should have done it much earlier but here goes: General impression The rhetoric in this statement is very startling in that it makes use of a lot of far-right and/or populist and/or reactionary stock phrases and tactics (“must be defended from outsiders”, “preserve our national boundaries”, “pure [provincial designations]”, “educate and protect Talossan ideals”, “MUST be defended at all costs [...] NO room for negotiation”, “resistance”). It just seems like an angry person feeling left out of the country and its progress, and wanting to turn back time to when things were happier for him (because maybe more of his chums were active?), and to hell with all the others who might have felt uncomfortable! PROTECT DEFEND RESIST PRESERVE. That would be quite a catchy battle cry, if it were not just so sad and upsetting. Perhaps to further your dismay - These planks are almost exactly the same as 2007. Why would the fact that there are people who don't believe like you be a problem? Are people not allowed to be free thinkers in a free democracy you dream of? Are people not allowed to believe in a Talossa that has ethos and morals similar to their own? Are we not free to create our own Talossa? The issues are almost the same today as they were so many years ago. Have you taken the Talomat? Surley you see these planks are reflected issues questioned within Talossa herself. It is okay to be different and have different opinions, sometimes we need a Winston Smith. I am hopeful your confusion will turn to an awakening. Resistance is a mater of conscience.

LOL! Dude can you animate that? Do you mind if I share it outside Talossa, it is a perfect example for an article I am writing on Trauma and PTSD in our culture. (I would want to use your real name though as the source of the "disparaging" image). lol - See more proof Talossa hasn't changed one bit. Resistance is a matter of conscience

My worry is that you're going to give the impression that the ZPT is a successor to the RUMP and endorsed by Hool. I made this same mistake, though, so I guess I can't rag on you too much.

Oh yeah that was the FIRST attack (welcome to Talossan politics as usual) The SECOND is the comparison to King Madison. (yup whats next? Any guesses?) Resistance is a matter of conscience.

LOL! Dude can you animate that? Unfortunately... no. That stands outside my abilities. If you like. I'm interested in whom you are writing for, though. And when you say "our" culture, are you speaking specifically Talossa? I'd be fascinated to read that.

I remember the good days where a vote for a party could actually negotiate a seat at the table. Yes, we abolished that corrupt practice for a reason.

I honestly would state that my main intention in the beginning was to keep the zeal of madmax from grabbing the ZPT Party name and running with it as someone did with another party in the last election.... Of course, had you paid any attention, you would have known that I am a three term Prime Minister for the MRPT, its longest tenured party member, longest tenured member of the Ziu, longest tenured member of the Cabinet, etc. etc.. Meanwhile, the ZPT has only one other former member in Talossa, Gjermund, who is hardly active at all anymore and votes reliably Free Democrat. Of course, had you paid any attention, you would also have known that small-m, small-r moderate radicalism is not only a legit ideology, it's also Talossa's most successful post-Reunision ideology. It's way more than just a party name, and I'm sure Ian Plätschisch, who heads the only current party with moderate radical traits, will be happy to concur. Meanwhile, the ZPT's ideology is as vacuous and meaningless as the track record of its leader, a blemish on the original ZPT's tradition of moderate opposition to the Progressive Conservatives as Miestrâ Schivâ, UrN rightfully said. But yes, keep telling yourself it's exactly the same.

My brain "our" being United States, working with another writer and therapist on an article about results of cyber bullying and PTSD etc, it actually is a good thing to use because it only would be something that was related to me so they won't have to have some child chance seeing a graphic that disparaged them in a magazine at their counselor's office etc. That would be rough. I sent it over I will let you know if it makes it in print. Talossan name for credit or?

How are children involved in this? It is an industry rag, well the hopes of it so it is possible that a counselor or psychologist could have a paper printed copy out. Thanks again though, it makes it safe for me to print.

IV, you have always been a contrarian. :-) The ZPT of yore was contrary to the old PC and the rest of the Opposition. Contrary to King Ben's wishes, you were one of the Founding Parents of the Republic.
Contrary to the prevailing wisdom in the Republic at the time you left, you were the first of us to return to the Kingdom. Now you wish to go contrary to the ascendancy of a political order that seeks to give the Kingdom desperately-needed change and improvement.
You continue to be the 2nd-most American-Christian-Conservative of any Talossan who has ever been, JJ being 1st.
Were the shoe on the other foot and the RUMP in possession of 150 Cosâ seats, you would vote FREEDEMS. :-)
