Earlier today I notified the RUMP of my intention to resign from the party. This resignation takes effect from today.
I hereby resign all seats that I hold effective immediately.
I shall leave it in the hands of the RUMP to decide how they move forward in regards to party leadership and seat reassignments.
I hold no personal ill will towards any individual members of the party and I leave for reasons of my own. That said, I am disappointed in the current state of the party.
I feel I should also exclaim my extreme disappointment with the Crown as of late. I believe that the King's behaviours and attitudes are edging the nation ever closer to a serious constitutional crisis. I urge him, as a matter of grave importance, to reflect on recent events and then take immediate action to attempt to defuse tensions and rebuild trust in his office.
I am not necessarily resigning from political life in Talossa, however for the time being I am taking a sidestep and a breather. I thank my fellow Cosa colleagues for their dedicated service and I look forward to working with you all again in the future in some capacity.
