Having been over 3 weeks since the passage of this bill, and no indication from the Monarch has come on assent, as per Article II, Section 10 of the Constitution, which reads
"Section 10: The King or his Cunstaval may Veto a Bill, thereby returning it to the House of Commons, who may reconsider it. If the King or his Cunstaval does not sign or Veto a Bill within three weeks of its passage of the House of Commons, he shall be deemed to have signed it, and it shall enter into law."
This law is now deemed to have been given assent, and is therefore entered into law of this Province.
Sir Alexandreu Davinescu: It's obvious enough why you like it. Hurts my feelings, to be honest. Didn't know Etho felt that way. Think I'm going to take a further step back from things, see how I feel. See you folks in a few months.

Magniloqueu Épiqeu da Lhiun: That speech would have been great without the unnecessary attacks. That really is very disappointing. Why do we do this to other people? What was gained from this?

Lüc da Schir: That's a pretty weird speech and it misses the point of a lot of complaints against the current Government. Though I'm happy that Eðo feels he is in the right place at the moment. He's genuinely a great guy.

Lüc da Schir: "We are seeing mild resistance against electing the Seneschal"... come on, Ian P admitted to the Cabinet that you guys have no counter-arguments and he's fine with dropping it. At this point you'll be ramming it through without any real argument in favor.

Ian Plätschisch: That post was never supposed to be on my personal feed and I thought nobody saw it after I deleted it

Ian Plätschisch: Sort of like the time S:reu Crova threatened to release a story about the MRPT's proposed "third pole" going into the 49th Cosa because you accidentally posted it to the public part of the MRPT forum.

Lüc da Schir: That wasn't meant to be a secret plan or anything, the whole thing was just Inxheneu being a butthurt cunt.

Miestrâ Schivâ, UrN: YIPES! Italians aren't allowed to use that word, only Scots and Aussies
Feb 17, 2020 16:28:42 GMT -6
Miestrâ Schivâ, UrN: Seriously, can I point out that Ián represents the most "centrist" of the coalition parties and the FreeDems and PNP are much more pig-headed about reforms
Feb 17, 2020 16:29:13 GMT -6
Lüc da Schir: I have the c-word pass
Feb 18, 2020 4:05:31 GMT -6
Lüc da Schir: It's not very clear how "centrist" AMP actually is compared to the other coalition parties. All three have ideas I consider unpalatable, to pretty similar degrees.
Feb 18, 2020 4:09:19 GMT -6
Lüc da Schir: Also note that I'm never opposed to reform (however drastic) in principle, but I will always be opposed to stuff that hasn't been thought through / is there just to score a political point for no measurable gain.

Lüc da Schir: It would be cool if Açafat's office was "solicitor general" instead of "deputy AG"
Feb 18, 2020 12:28:44 GMT -6
Magniloqueu Épiqeu da Lhiun: Why not be quirky? Attorney Marginal? Solicitor Exceptional? Barrister Unusual?
Feb 18, 2020 14:28:23 GMT -6
Miestrâ Schivâ, UrN: "Solicitor General" has a technical meaning, that is someone who actually appears in Cort on behalf of the Govt at the A-G's instruction. In the long term I want to create such a role in Talossa because writing legal briefs is a specialised skill...
Feb 18, 2020 15:38:31 GMT -6
Miestrâ Schivâ, UrN: ... but considering the baptism of fire that Açafat has been getting in the current case, I wouldn't wish that job on him unless he REALLY wants it
