So far, we only have preliminary results, I believe. But those give us:
FREEDEMS 4
MODRADS 5
PRESENT 1
IAN PLäTSCHISCH 1
LUC DA SHIR 1
IASON TAIWOS 1
Assuming those all hold, under the precedents of for voting for the party leader and voting PRESENT, that translates to:
FreeDems: 5
AMP: 1
ModRads: 5
? ? ? ? ? : 1
Under precedent, we treated a vote for Luc da Shir as a vote for Luc da Schir, so that's either an unregistered independent or as an effort to cast a vote for the ModRads. That then leaves the question as to whether it was a successful attempt at either, since we have no specific precedent on unregistered independents under the current rules and it wasn't for the actual party leader.
If we treat it as a failed vote, the seat distribution is easy.
5 ModRad, 5 FreeDem, 1 AMP, all integers.
If we treat it as a valid vote for Luc da Schir as an independent, under the precedent-established Hare-Niemeyer system we get:
Quota = 12 (votes) / 11 (seats) = 1.09090909...
Party Calculation
Seats
ModRads 5/(12/11) = 4 seats, 0.58333... remainder
Free Democrats 5/(12/11) = 4 seats, 0.58333... remainder
AMP 1/(12/11) = 0 seats, 0.91666... remainder
Luc da Schir 1/(12/11) = 0 seats, 0.91666... remainder
4 integer seats ModRads (+4 seats, 4)
4 seats assigned, 4 integer seats FreeDems (+4 seats, 4)
8 seats assigned, largest remainder tie AMP/Luc da Schir (+1 seat each, 1 seat each)
10 seats assigned, largest remainder tie ModRads/FreeDems, equal claim.
4 ModRad, 4 FreeDem, 1 AMP, 1 Luc da Schir, 1 undetermined
If we treat it as a valid vote for the ModRads, under the precedent-established Hare-Niemeyer system we get:
Quota = 12 (votes) / 11 (seats) = 1.09090909...
Party Calculation
Seats
ModRads 6/(12/11) = 5 seats, 0.5 remainder
Free Democrats 5/(12/11) = 4 seats, 0.58333... remainder
AMP 1/(12/11) = 0 seats, 0.91666... remainder
5 integer seats ModRads (+5 seats, 5)
5 seats assigned, 4 integer seats FreeDems (+4 seats, 4)
9 seats assigned, largest remainder AMP (+1 seat, 1)
10 seats assigned, largest remainder FreeDems (+1 seat, 5)
5 ModRad, 5 FreeDem, 1 AMP.
So, my current preliminary inclination is to say these preliminary results should result in a 5 ModRad, 5 FreeDem, 1 AMP distribution.
