Justification: I honestly believe that a problem with Talossa's constitutional status quo is that the idea of the monarch as a non-political constitutional guardian (eg the current British monarchy) is nowhere specified in the OrgLaw, and simple "convention" has not been successful to this point in stopping the monarch acting IMHO politically. The addition of this clause simply turns what should be convention already into a binding guideline.
Personally, in a sop to monarchists, I believe that if such a clause is included - and therefore the King could be tried for breaching it, with possible deposition as a consequence - there would be no need for a "democratic way to get rid of a Monarch" as recently proposed by the Seneschál.

I would be OK with this proposal except for where it says:
Currently, the Government is technically an adviser to the King, and I think it would be good to keep it that way.

I would be OK with this proposal except for where it says: Currently, the Government is technically an adviser to the King, and I think it would be good to keep it that way. I was thinking of the classical description of the rights of the British monarch: "to advise, to be consulted, and to warn".
