Here is what I propose: Roll | Inferior Forces | 1:1 | 3:2 | 2:1 | 3:1 | 4:1 | 8 (6 on SH) | 200% Damage | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | 7 (5 on SH) | 100% Damage | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | 6 (4 on SH) | 50% Damage | 50% Damage | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | 5 (3 on SH) | 25% Damage | 25% Damage | 50% Damage | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | 4 (2 on SH) | No Effect | 10% Damage | 25% Damage | 50% Damage | Total Destruction | Total Destruction | 3 (1 on SH) | No Effect | No Effect | 10% Damage | 25% Damage | 25% Damage | Total Destruction | 2 | No Effect | No Effect | No Effect | 10% Damage | 10% Damage | 10% Damage | 1 | No Effect | No Effect | No Effect | No Effect | No Effect | No Effect |
Brilliant! A bit hard to digest, but I believe I understand it more after looking at the example To be clear, the possibilities for rolling a 7 and 8 are only available to a player defending from a stronghold (therefore the attacking damage information for these numbers is unnecessary). Also, are ratios always rounded in the defender's favor?

Brilliant! A bit hard to digest, but I believe I understand it more after looking at the example Thanks! Yes, indeed... I was just keeping the format stable. It is indeed impossible to roll a natural 7 or 8 on a 6 sided dice. No, they are always rounded down. You are in the inferior number unless you have equal or more. Then you are at 1:1 until you are 50% higher (3:2). When you are double, it's 2:1, and so one for 3:1 and 4:1. Did I round weirdly in my examples?

Thanks for clarifying (you didn't round weirdly, I just wanted to make sure)
I guess the extra 7 and 8 stats could be relevant if an attacker attacked a larger force defending from a stronghold (which is possible, so it should be left in, but I don't know why anyone would do that)
Is loss of troops always rounded down as well?

Marti-Pair Furxheir S.H.I propose the following. We continue this game as it is, in the meantime we accumulate ideas and questions about possible better rulings, and after the game we hold a discussion upon which we collectively accept Third Edition of rules. Also, I will now hand Gamemastership over to you. I'm deadly short of time. I will also send you the biggest version of the current map.

As TALC has sent their revised plan 1 hour earlier than New Cezembre, TALC was put third, and New Cezembre fourth. I personally don't see a reason why you'd not be able to participate in current one. Only you'll have a big disadvantage of late registration.

This is Phase 3, but with only the Blue and Green players resolved.
Don't hesitate to point out errors..

Phase 3 is now resolved. www.talossa.ca/risk/phase3.pngI obviously lost the attack with 12 units of MG (which has 57 and a SH), but I won the Attack of P with 3 units VS only 1. I rolled 11, and I rolled a 5 for Gluc. Shard was an automatic victory for Gluc, as was what is now CSW. I will calculate the reinforcements later today. Oh, look, I survived another round! Yeah!

I have to post against my own interests here. I didnt automatically win shard. I had far fewer troops going in there giving me only a slight advantage which will have to be settled using dice
