Why is that abuse? It's a valid strategy based on the rules as they were. If there's another game we can change it again, but I don't think it'd be fair to change it now. (Btw, I thought we had to directly declare a capital upon reaching 10 provinces, but I guess I misintepreted that )

sorry for not making it clear enough, I tried to put it as "9. If at the end of the step a Conqueror does posess 10 lands or more and hasn't perform Capitalhift to declare a Capital, he must do this next step and then withdraw from Conquering for next 10 actions. If he fails to do so, the next attempt will mean 15 withdrawals, etc." in the Clarifications but seems like it wasn't clear enough. Anyway we're learning and polishing the rules so that's ok to mess up sometimes. at least you were first to get capital reinforcements! And you'll conquer more than anyone next step then. I too majorly messed up at my first turn, when I thought that leaving 2 spare reinforcements would do me any good. I seemed to have the worst understanding of my own rules Okay, I too think, let's not change the rules than. Maybe it'll make it more fun; those enclaves would then have additional strategic meaning! Also ( Marti-Pair Furxheir S.H.) let's not consider Enclave farming cheating for this game, rather a strategy?

Another question. If you conquer with more troops than you have in a province, will it still count, just with only the troops that are actually in a province - 1? (Similar to the reinforcement rule)

You can only conquer if you have 3 units on a land... Could you please provide an example, I seem to be lost on that one?
One more point; I'm leaving for a wedding trip from 7th to 19th october... I'm not sure if I have internet there, but even if I have, we'll probably need someone to take over as Gamemaster for a while. Or we can just wait for my return

Say your action plan says Q: a >> b 30, but you only have 20 troops in a. What happens then?

I think in this case it would resolve as "a >> b 19." Fair enough?

Sure, as long as it's clear.

Ok. I hope you forgive that there are hinches and unclearness sometimes, I never before developed anything bigger than simple kitchen games and some possible loopholes and cases just don't occur to you while you develop the rules.

TURN 2, ACTION PLAN REVEALINGTALC 1. R: Colorado, 27 2. Q Colorado >> South, 28 [Castle Black] 3. Q Castle Black >> South West, 20 [W1] 4. Q W1 >> West, 17 [W2] 5. Q W2 >> West, 14 [W3] 6. Q W3 >> West, 11 [W4] 7. Q W4 >> West, 08 [W5] 8. Q Castle Black >> East, 6 [E1] 9. Q E1 >> East, 3 [E2] 10. C TexasI also need your advice. Should we stop counting Enclaves while counting Borderlands starting with next step? Cause Marti probably was right about them, they can be possibly abused. These are not the final orders I sent you... Can you please take my final orders?

Ouch.. I was fairly sure I took the correct ones! Sorry about that, corrected. And yes I put your action plan last because of corrections, but it doesn't change anything right now If I have some internet, I will be able to post my own action plan from tablet. I would be grateful if you took over for a while!

Hmm, it seems likely that my misunderstanding of the capitalshift discussion has made me lose the game But we'll see...

Ok, so I attacked Gluc with enough troops to guarantee my victory. I such, I think I conquered E7 which he has named Al (my name remains since I conquered it). I had 21 Troops, and he had 3. Of he rolls all sixes, that's 18. if I roll all 1, that's 21, or 3 more... I just don't know how many of my guys survived, and I don't know if the capitals give units on the first turn. Here is my interpretation of the results, with Stars for capitals, dots for 1 unit, square for 10 units, and Triangle for strongholds. www.talossa.ca/files/phase2mpf.pngCan you correct me? If I am to be the gamemaster in a few days, I have to be sure. I will calculate the Unit bonus later.
