Mr President,
will you be allowing for a formal application process in the foreseeable future?

It is my pleasant function to mandate that Ian Viac'hteir Plätschisch, our companion and erstwhile Associate Fellow of this noble and erudite institution, be now recognised as a Fellow of the Royal Society.
Welcome this citizen now amongst us, who consider, and learn, and teach.

Mr President, will you be allowing for a formal application process in the foreseeable future? It is my current opinion - and, in this, I stand to be corrected - that applications may be made as any individual is moved to do so. Suggestions may also be made by third parties, at any time, for persons of noble and learned quality - within Talossa or without - as a mark of honour. Such applications and suggestions, however, shall always be subject to scrutiny: it is necessary for this Royal Society to maintain a level of erudition and culture which can be seen to be respected, and which can sustain its honour, and - by association - help sustain the positive reputation of Talossa amongst other nations. The appointment of non-Talossan Fellows would, of course, take place only after the giving of specific permission from the Ziu or the Monarch or whatever high (non-Royal Society) office may be agreed by discussion or legal mandate.
It was a prior suggestion that applications for membership could be made only at moderately rare moments, enforcing a period of waiting upon the applicant. An alternative - used by many other learned societies in other nations - is to make the process after application to be a long or a short time, as the more Senior Fellows, in their careful consideration, see fit. It is my personal opinion that this alternative best fits the Talossan way of rapid change within a stable (but movable) base.

Mr. President, Thank you for my appointment to the Academy. I look forward to working to build the scholarly community of Talossa.
I did want to ask, as a holder of a Bachelors of Science degree, wouldn't I be a Senior Fellow of the Academy?

As I am now a citizen, I would like to be inducted into the Royal Society as an Accosiate Fellow. Are there any steps to doing this?

Been a few weeks, anything on this? Thanks so much, Jeremy L. Davis Bump? Anything on this yet? I am now a Graduate Student at the University of Oklahoma. I believe this qualifies my initial entry as Senior Fellow.

I apologise to the noble Fellows of this Royal Society, and most especially to our esteemed citizen Þon Txoteu É. Davinescu, for my delay in relying to requests about membership.
I am delighted to admit to the status of Senior Fellow the most learned Þon Txoteu É. Davinescu.
May he further enhance the studious glory of us here virtually assembled.
Ián Tamorán, S.H.

Oh dear - how remiss of me! I really must beg the forgiveness and understanding of both The Noble Fellows of this August Royal Society in general, and in particular of our esteemed citaxhién, the learned Magniloqueu Épiqeu da Lhiun whose most correct application to be amongst us here has remained so rudely - and inadvertently - unprocessed. This delay has been entirely my personal fault - mea culpa - as I have been distracted by many other calls upon my time both within and outside of this esteemed realm. My apologies to you all. Therefore, let it be known that our colleague the most honourable Magniloqueu Épiqeu da Lhiun is hereby admitted as an Associate Fellow herein, with our eager anticipation of his being admitted in the very near future to higher rank, when his skills in the Science of Linguistics have been further recognised elsewhere.May he add to our learning and our expression thereof.Ián Tamorán S.H.
