Greetings!
Im engaging on a mapping project for the Kingdom and need some more detailed information about your province's extensive geography.
Does anyone have handy the official cantonal and parish boundaries for the province, as well as the location/address of the provincial capital?
All the best

All the best See here for a full written account of the Provincial geography. wiki.talossa.com/The_Parishes_and_Townships_Decree_(Vuode)There's also some more details on various Vuode pages on the Wiki. Also, from the provincial constitution: "The capital of Vuode is the Pontiac. However, for sentimental purposes, the Pavilion shall be enshrined as a historical capital." However,I don't actually know the street addresses to these landmarks.

The capital of Vuode is the Pontiac. A Pontiac seems kind of small for a provincial capital, but if you have only one active citizen maybe it's adequate for your needs. I hope it's an early '80s Trans Am mocked up to look like KITT.

Well, I suppose it would be conducive to taking the entire Estats-Xhenerais on a road trip.

Where does the canton of Dun Cestour (in Vuode) get its name?
Cestour of course means a non-Talossan resident of the GTA and Talossa proper.
Dun is a word I have not figured out (it is not in the lexicon of the Talossan language).
Please help.

You have it in Dunedin, Dún Laoghaire, etc. The English word 'down" is derived from it.

I'm fairly certain it's a borrowing of Irish dun, which means "fort".

I've found this possible explanation.
Prior to 1992, Vuode was a much smaller province and comprised only of what we know as Vuode Canton. Dun Cestour was actually originally in M-M, with the pre-92 M-M stretching all the way north to Vuode's current northern border. So while looking for clues as to where Ben got his inspiration for the name, I'd be looking at links to M-M.
The South of Dun Cestour and the north of M-M (along with the east of Benito) is where Ben claims Talossan ancestry took hold and source of the original expansion of settlers.
Further reading finds that any early mention of Dun Cestour in Ben's writings calls it 'The Autonomous Region of Dun Cestour'.
I also note that in this particular context Ben does not translate Cestours to mean non-Talossan residents, instead offering the translation of "white American" [sic] settlers.

Thank you, Your Excellency, and Senator Grischun, for your encouraging answers.
For me, I find it cute that I was born as a Cestour (non-Talossan resident of the GTA).
...If I manage to avoid learning Talossan (while still being a Talossan citixhien) I will be a "Cestourat" according to the Talossan Lexicon (which says that a cestourat is a Talossan citizen who does not speak the Talossan language). For one reason or another, it looks like the more democratic-minded forms etreier and citixhien are more common that Cestourat. Is my guess right, that cestourat is an embarrasing title (since it means that someone does not know Talossan)?
A related historic artifact which I am curious about is where the province of Dandenburg is (or used to be) since the name of Vuode Province is sometimes "The United Provinces of Vuode and Dandenburg". Would any of you know more about Dandenburg?
