Don't get your hopes up; that is not likely to happen anytime soon. It will happen on Tuesday, Talossan time. Don't be rude. Really? This is the first time I have heard that, though I'm happy to hear it!

Were you under the impression that the King would simply be allowed to disobey the law and not do his job?

In any case, I would ask politely that this suggestion for reform - which seems a good one on its face - be submitted to the Royal Commission to be taken into account in an overarching OrgLaw reform, rather than adopted piecemeal (or not, as the case may be, as a vote on the last Clark of the Cosa may be seen as politicking against the RC and the Government).

A few comments on the draft changes to Lexh. Title H:
1. I suggest moving sections 9, 10, 14, 15, and 19 towards the end of title H, so all the sections about the Clark and how bills are handled in the Cosa and Senäts are together and come before the sections about what happens after bills are passed by the Cosa and Senäts (and other miscellaneous sections).
2. Consider combining sections 6, 7, and 8 into one section on the Hopper and clarking, with more subsections (i.e. 7, 7.1, 7.2, 8, and 8.1 would become subsections 6.2 through 6.6).
3. In section 2.5, "constitute" is definitely better than the current "constituent", but "as" is unnecessary. I'd say "shall not constitute being unavailable" or "shall not count as being unavailable." In the first sentence of the same section, I'd fix the existing typo "unable for to access Witt" (should be "unable to access Witt").

I have no objections to the suggested changes. Ian Plätschisch and Magniloqueu Épiqeu da Lhiun, if you don't have any, either, then may I suggest we move ahead with it? I think Ian's suggestion is a good one. Ian, do you want to put up the new thread with these shifts, since you're on the ball? We can do any tweaks on that thread, if we need to. Dama Miestra, thank you, but for myself (at least) I would love to see this committee's first bill in the next Clark, hopefully to pass into the OrgLaw in the next election. As Ian said, though, it will be in the Hopper and anyone is absolutely encouraged to make suggestions or point out problems. We're taking a different approach... rather than issuing one report and then dissolving, like the Commission, we're going to tackle things in that piecemeal fashion. It's working really well so far!

No need to be smug about it, AD.

So I just realized that my "Another Reformatting Act" changes a section of el Lexhatx that is also changed in this bill. Can we incorporate my changes into this bill, so everything is nice and neat?

Ah, ell. I have just submitted a bill that would change the OrgLaw.
Would be cool if y'all would hold off until I checked whether the bills would be in conflict.

No need to be smug about it, AD. Not being smug, dude -- trying to be polite without being evasive. So I just realized that my "Another Reformatting Act" changes a section of el Lexhatx that is also changed in this bill. Can we incorporate my changes into this bill, so everything is nice and neat? Fine by me. Ah, ell. I have just submitted a bill that would change the OrgLaw. Would be cool if y'all would hold off until I checked whether the bills would be in conflict. Also fine by me.

Well, let's hopper our bill in the first Clark, anyway. Then we can get the show on the road and move on to another article. The Commission will, I hope, incorporate any changes we make.

Absolutely! Although I don't know even where we are in this, since the commission fiasco derailed us. But let's get back into it and get some real stuff done!

If we start on Article 10 soon, we might have it done in time for the last Clark.
