I did not mean that most sections could be moved to el Lexhatx in their entirety, but there are a few that could, and many that could be condensed and then combined with other articles. This would change very little of the wording, but it would be nice to do everything at one time.

Not to mention the fact that even small changes to wording and process can take months and pages of debate. Designing a new one entirely would be a nightmare of chaos and shoggoths. Yes, that too. So basically we could have coins, a function telecommuna and civil service, active provinces, a completely updated wiki and webportal, or we could have a new constitution. Except of course, that new constitution might still get rejected.

I think your interpretation is a bit extreme. If a small committee takes a few months to move language around, I don't see how that would be a major impediment to the rest of Talossa'a activities.
We don't need to change any laws, we just need to change where the laws are.

No, I think Gluc was saying that a constitutional convention would consume Talossa in a big nasty fight and riot for probably at least the entire term -- an amendment process to tackle different articles would not be as disruptive, I think you're right.

Doing it in a series of amendments is something I would like to avoid if possible, because doing it all at once would be more elegant. Perhaps, if a constitutional committee were to be formed (trust me, I would love to be on it), it could periodically submit what it had done so far for approval. At least this way it would be a few big amendments, rather than a ton of small ones. The committee would try to change as little content as possible, while moving non-essential parts to statuary law.

That reminds me of the Committee of Style and Arrangement of the United States' Constitutional Convention of 1787, the job of which was to pretty up the language and recommend the final order of arrangement of the provisions that had been approved by the broader convention.
