With the General Election now behind us, let's press ahead with the Talossan Journalism Awards!
Judges should be receiving their ballots today. I have PMed those who I don't have email addresses for. We are using a ranked pairs election via BallotBin.

Ladies and gentlemen, at this time, it's my pleasure to announce the winners of the 2015 Talossan Journalism Awards. This year the TPA used a ranked pairs system, allowing our judges to choose names in order of preference, rather than be limited to selecting only one person as a winner for each award. So without further delay...
Journalist of the YearWith 17% of the vote each, this year the award is a tie! Congratulations Glüc da Dhi and Sir C. M. Siervicül
Article of the Year
Also a close race, but with 18% of the vote:
Sir C. M. Siervicül's "A History of Catchmenta" (Beric'ht Talossan #13, 14 Sep 2014) Saint Maximilian Kolbe AwardWith 23% of the vote: Sir C. M. Siervicül Cartoonist of the Year Brand new this year, 83% of the judges voted for: Greg Glodaral Cartoon of the Year Also in it's inaugural year, 66% of the judges chose the award to go to: "Where on Earth is Beneditsch Ardprestéir?" by Greg Glodaral (ETT, 14 Mar 2015)
My sincere thanks to the fine journalists of Talossa, the nominators, and to our panel of judges who assisted me in this task: Alexandreu Davinescu, Óïn Ursüm, Lüc da Schir, Txosuè Éiric Rôibeardescù, and C. Carlüs Xheraltescu. 2015 Journalism Awards results.csv (1.89 KB)

Congratulations to the victors, and commiserations to my fellow losers ETT had less than three months of material that qualified for the eligibility window. Next year will be more competitive, particularly given S:reu Crova's amazing work.

Somewhat late response I guess. I'm very surprised and honoured by the award, especially when looking at what other great journalists have been nominated.
I'm not as surprised by the three awards for Sir Cresti. His articles have been very enjoyable and informative, especially the original research bits like the one about witt posts. The article about catchments was also very interesting. So congratulations Sir Cresti. Talossa needs more journalists like you.
And of course congratulations to Greg Glodaral as well.
