I clicked to join the Talossan Skype Translation thing team, but it won't let me translate. You need to be accepted first by a coordinator, I am a coordinator since I requested the project. I just accepted you, but keep in mind that this is an unofficial translation, it will not be available in the official Skype translations. Got it xD (I also haven't found a suitable translation for "Add", so I coined " axhuntarh" [< raeto. agiuntar], is that OK, S:reu Siervicül?)

New question.
In phrases like "Hide contacts", would you translate it "Ascunçarh els contäctsilor", "Ascunçarh dels contäctsilor" or just "Ascunçarh contäctsilor"?

I would say "ascunçarh els contäctsilor" if it's a button to do something like hide the whole list of contacts, but "ascunçarh dels contäctsilor" if it's something like a menu to choose some contacts to hide (but presumably not all of them). That raises another question, though, of which verb form to use. If this is for the title of a menu, infinitive is probably best. If it's for a button or an option that you can select, imperative might be better. We should look at what translators do in other Romance languages across a few different projects and come up with guidelines for that sort of thing. We probably could stand to have a dedicated forum for translation questions.

It might be a good idea to create a software translation style guide, so we can translate multiple software consistent with each other. According to my Google research, French translates verbs as infinitives (just like in Dutch).

More seriously, it looks like Launchpad has some good translation guides that we could adapt. According to my Google research, French translates verbs as infinitives (just like in Dutch). That does seem to be typical in Spanish software too. Guess infinitive it is.

I've used the infinitive everywhere (except for "do not disturb", where I used "non zestorvetz-voi"). 93% of the Skype Mini file have been translated into Talossan, putting it before Maltese, Romantsh Grischun, Georgian, Zulu etc. Now we need to review them. I believe that my translations are still error-prone.

I placed it on my Google Drive so we can start working on it together. Link to Google Docs. Now we need to review them. I believe that my translations are still error-prone. I changed your role to reviewer, so now you are able to review the translations.

The translation platform of Minecraft now also has Talossan support! I have already started with some translations, but I can't finish it completely. Everybody can help translating here.

This was another one on my to-do list. They seem very open to "unconventional" languages (like Pirate). I'll definitely help out with this translation when I have some time.

I have already tried translating some strings to Talossan, but for some words I couldn't find an appropriate translation. Also, it might be a good idea to agree on the banner translations before, as there are 624 strings about them (23% of all the strings). I have already created an online spreadsheet, where we can translate those strings before entering them all on Crowdin. Link to spreadsheet.

Should I make my additions in comments on the document, and then you will edit the actual spreadsheet cells?

Another thing we might need to discuss. Do we translate the word " you" as " tu" or as " voi"? English doesn't have a informal and a formal variant (anymore). I propose that we translate everything formally, except for video games, where informal might be more appropriate.

I think a formal translation makes sense in this case.
