Azul (courtesies first!) and thanks for helping  I've been reading through provided sources and I think I might have a well-defined idea of what my (prospective) arms would look like. Since my non-talossan name means something like "brave bear" in old German, I think a red rampant bear might be appropriate. Regarding the field, I read the link you provided and something more; maybe a "party per fess embattled", don't know whether I'm using the lingo properly? I thought the upper part argent, while green could fit for the lower one This is just a first sketch, I somehow sense it could break a dozen rules of heraldry, but a try comes costless thanks again for helping! |

Okay, so what you're talking about is: Per fess embattled argent and vert a bear rampant proper. Assuming the bear is brown, I don't think that'll be a problem. I'll have to get one of our resident arms-painters to work something up, so I will fetch my poking-stick and go do that.
The next arms-granting day is 12 October, so we got some time.
If there's anything else you'd like to add, let me know.

It is very well done, so thanks, first things first To be honest, I figured a darker shade of green, like pine green, if possible. The other thing, nothing more than a spoiled child's whining: I fancy the bear turned the other way, if you may Thanks and excellent job again |
