Dame Miestra asks: when an appointed official and a government minister have a disagreement over something (giving the example of the wiki), who has the final say? But this is not an unanswered or ambiguous question, since the law is crystal-clear: the government minister. The wiki managers, for example, are appointed officials of the Ministry of Stuff. They can be overruled by the Minister of Stuff or by the Seneschal, or removed from their post at will. That's why, when the outgoing Government came into office, I contacted the Minister of Stuff and the Seneschal and reviewed in detail what was going on. As wiki manager, I was (am!) accountable to them.
If the Civil Service becomes active, this will change significantly, as anyone who enters such a service will no longer be directly accountable to the Minister in question. If the wiki manager was a civil servant, the Minister of Stuff would have to ask the Commissioner to fire him. But for now, there's no question of who's in charge.

Yes, I have heard about that. Was just saying that to clarify. (My guess would be that theres a pretty good chance Lüc will be the next party leader, but its not certain yet.)

But this is not an unanswered or ambiguous question, since the law is crystal-clear: the government minister. Then the Seneschál and the Minister of Stuff made an error letting your decision to pick a fight with an ex-citizen by keeping personal information up. I was under the impression that they didn't think they had a legal right to. I will certainly not make that mistake if I lead the next Government. So... no response to my challenge to a live-audio Leaders' Debate?

I was under the impression that they didn't think they had a legal right to. I will certainly not make that mistake if I lead the next Government. I should stop telling you about the basics of how the government works But yeah, heh, the Prime Ministry backed the decision, after consulting with the Attorney-General and Minister of Stuff. So... no response to my challenge to a live-audio Leaders' Debate? Sure, that would be fine. I very much enjoyed our last discussion on Viteu's podcast.

No offence guys, I wish not to hold a shouting match but a civilised debate, but if you cant even keep it civil on here, I won't give you the satisfaction of being in the same debate

See, what the other extreme monarchy/republican parties need is a liberal arbiter to bring out the best of both in order to trailblaze along a path to liberty. Or something.
