Thoughts anyone? My apologies for posting this so late this time. I've been on vacation, and I was about to the night before last but my computer decided to die. Hopefully I can get everything typed out correctly on this stupid phone! I'm open to comments on everything, of course, but the two bills in question that I will briefly go over are the referendums on Cosa size and the Monarchy. (I'd go over everything in depth, but multiple tabs on a phone is hard to do.) I'm against changing the size of the Cosa. I believe that small parties should have just as much right to a voice in the Ziu as the major ones. I recognize that views on the subject differ greatly, however, and there are even intraparty disagreements regarding taking one particular position on this issue. Perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea to poll the citizens on how they feel. Therefore, I'm leaning towards voting PER. I will be voting to keep the current size in the poll, however. The Monarchy is a different story. I don't feel that a poll is appropriate given the circumstances--this isn't an issue that is debated as often as is the size of the Cosa, and we often only hear about it from a vocal minority of citizens who believe that a republic is better for Talossa. That isn't to diminish the views of the minority or the issue in general, but if we begin to poll the citizens on every single issue that happens to come up in the political conversation, we're going to be taking a lot of polls. We elect representatives of the people for this reason. There may be one day where there is a significant enough movement to change the entire basis for our country by taking the Kingdom out of the name, and when we do, perhaps then it would be appropriate to take action. For now, I'm leaning AUS.

RZ26, unlike RZ28, is an OrgLaw referendum rather than a mere poll. I believe members of the Ziu should use their judgment in deciding whether a proposed amendment is actually wise rather than just passing each amendment along to the people. I believe a large segment of the electorate takes the same view, and for that reason is likely to vote üc on a referendum by default based on the judgment of a supermajority of the Ziu. For that reason, I urge you not to vote for an OrgLaw amendment unless you actually think it's a good idea.

I don't belive the amendment is a good idea, and thank you for pointing this error out to me. (Don't worry, I would have caught it before casting my votes tomorrow when I review and double check the Clark.) Again, I was a bit confused when I typed this, and I will be voting either Aus or Con on this amendment.
