Because I don't want to be told off for wandering the halls of Fiova's convention centre, I'll comment on the Convention's proceedings here, and I would encourage anyone else to do so as well.
On the proposed renaming of the ZRT to Livertà (Freedom/Liberty); if any members consider freedom and liberty to be the driving force of their politics in Talossa, I would heartily encourage you to get in touch with me. In the next couple of days, myself and others plan on launching that new liberal party I've been mentioning for a while. And yes, the main focus of that party will be liberty and freedom. If that interests you, like I said, get in touch and have your opinion heard so that you might shape a party whose focus will first and foremost be on the political and civil liberties of Talossan citizens.

I'm creating a new party because I want our politics to transcend issues of monarchism and republicanism. I want to bring together those who support the monarchy and those who want a democratically elected head of state in a coalition which would defend the principles of liberty (freedom), toleration, localism. I want to bring together a group of people who want to maintain the civil and political liberties of this fine nation above all else, and if you feel the same way then it's you who should join my party. Not the other way around. I am still a republican, but I am a liberal first. |
