What do y'all think about making a law stipulating that the Provincial Government should be responsible for maintaining and updating its own Twitter feed?

Hmm. Undecided.

My thoughts are that it's better to have an official one that is inactive, than one that is not accountable to the citizens of the province. Not that it would be inactive, but rather it would still be preferable. I'm toying with the idea of making a page on Facebook for people to like in addition to the group page that already exists.

Why do we need a law? Why not just start one yourself, cxhn. Capitán?

I'm glad you asked, Cxhn. Schiva! I want to ensure the success of such an endeavour when I cease to be Capitán. That is to say that any of my successors can be called to account for failing to maintain our web presence, thereby failing to preserve our activity.

On the other hand one would have to tẃéét to be a Captain?

Not necessarily. Voters may, however, prefer to elect a Capitan who will update the Twitter feed, however.

To what end might it be established?

Providing updates concerning goings on in the province etc. Legislative or otherwise.
