People have been discussing various changes for Benito, both in how we compose our legislature and in how we name to province.
However, in order to enact any such changes, we're going to have to seat a Legislative Chancellery to pass a resolution to propose amendments to the current Constitution of Benito. Which means that parties are going to have to seat people.
Interestingly, the Chancellery has 11 members by the Constitution, and we had 22 votes cast on the Chancellery part of the ballot -- 12 for the RUMP, 4 for the CSPP, 4 for the MRPT, and 2 for the CeR. Which by my math quite easily divides into the RUMP naming 6 members, the CSPP 2, the MRPT 2, and the CeR 1, with no remainders.

I'd like to throw my name out as an MRPT representative.
Things I wish to propose:
-self-representation for every individual in a legislative body called the "Provincial Forum" as a means to increase provincial activity
-cultural overhaul of the province: renaming the province, cantons, capital city, and government positions, creating a new flag, etc. Choosing names that are sufficiently Talossan while reflecting either our cultural history or geography. I would propose geographical terms for our province name and canton names, but historical/cultural terms for cities
-defining the territory for our cantons and assigning citizens to them, if anything just for the fact that we could say "CANTON, PROVINCE NAME" in our Witt profiles rather than just "PROVINCE NAME"
-other things not currently coming to mind

Im terribly sorry  . The MRPT members decided to release binding candidate lists before the election, also for the provinces. This is something we promised to the voters, so even though Im afraid this may cost us votes in the next election, we will be consequent and only appoint the candidates on the list. I do like your suggestions. I do hope and suspect that our candidate in Benito, Lüc da Schir will be open to suggestions from voters, and will work with you on these issues. |

Ill remind myself to ask you if you want to be a provincial candidate (if Benito doesnt have selfr-representation by that time). (Or you could of course become a member of the MRPT before that time  ) |

CeR assigns its seat to Eldsfats Blasius. It was a tough call, but the debate ("You take it" "No, you take it") ended when the Opposition offered me some Earl Grey in exchange for taking the seat. Which I hope isn't construed as a bribe and thus in conflict with OrgLaw.
