In a conversation with our Provincial Secretary of State, Txec Tric'hardsëfiglheu, he confirmed his desire to step down and resign from his post now that the election has been concluded. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank him for the excellent service he has given, not only to Fiova, but also as Secretary of State in the Republic. Fair play to him, he's even had to put up with my impatience at times. So here's your verbal pat on the back, S:reu Tric'hardsëfiglheu.
Therefore, it is now the role of the Provincial Tuischac'h to perform the duties of the Provincial SoS until a replacement can be found (if we want to find a replacement). As far as I'm concerned, one of the most important jobs that the SoS is required to do is ensure that our laws are recorded and documented in a fashion that is easy for all of us to access. Now, a certain Uc Tarfa has been instrumental in transferring the laws we have already smithed onto our Provincial Chancery page. I think it would be very appropriate if we were to formalise the work he has so excellently done for us already by naming him our next Secretary of State. Whaddaya say, S:r Tarfa?
