I "back-upped" Witt 12 (b) by means of httrack now, which is to say, that everything that wasn't world-readable is not included in the resulting artifact. 1.7 GB of data have been received, were wrapped into a tar file and then g-zipped down to a size of approximately 370 MB. Uploading the tar-gzipped artifact to www.talossa.org was the most annoying part of the whole manoeuvre. So here it is (hopefully): www.talossa.org/tmp/webbo.tar.gzYou may download it, gunzip it and untar the result with the command "tar xf webbo.tar ." in a folder of your choice. If you're somewhat LINUX savvy. Check it out and tell me if it worked.

No comments? Remember what happened the last time we backed up a forum? Several *years* after the original Witt X forum was gone, GV came along muttering that the back-up was incomplete (it didn't go further than down to October 2004 or some such). So, to avoid such late discoveries of a mishap, please, people, check it out before it is too late.

It's difficult enough trying to get people to contribute to the writing of our constitution...
