I am taking the liberty of calling to order a meeting of the Democratic Oscillation of the Glorious Province of Maritiimi-Maxhestic, which I will hereafter refer to as "DOOGPOM." All representatives who intend to participate will please announce themselves. Failing that, remain silent and I will interpret that as a vote of confidence in my leadership and intentions within the province so recently dubbed DOOGPOM. I intend to get several things accomplished. - Our website (http://www.freewebs.com/pelereu/) is kind of lame, and unworthy of the might that is M-M. We must revamp it or replace it, and add interesting things about M-M. For example, did you know that our province's name, when translated with sufficient looseness, means "Our Province Is Much Better Than Those Other Ones"? This is a virtual thumbs-up from the Talossan language itself!
- Locate our Cunstavál, Al Simmerman. I like his name. It's a name you can trust.
- Establish good relations with the other provinces, which we must nurture as a father nurtures his well-intentioned but vastly inferior children. We don't want to stunt their growth, so we shall not reveal unto them the vast DOOGPOM glory. We will merely show them how to whittle small things of whimsy, and gently pat their hands and congratulate them when they succeed.
- Nominate and choose an Official Provincial Sandwich. I, for one, will be nominating the Monte Cristo, as a sandwich of particular deliciousness whose name heralds our cleverness, patience, and maritime nature.
I call this meeting of the Democratic Oscillation of the Glorious Province of Maritiimi-Maxhestic to order!

An excellent list! We need to get these people active!
Another fun M-M fact: there is no proof that Jesus of Nazareth and Thomas Alva Edison had a nice lunch consisting of turkey dogs and potato chips, but neither is there proof that they didn't, and isn't that rather suggestive? Especially when you consider that it is a known fact that potato chips are delicious and potatoes have existed for thousands of years?

Correct. I have updated the Citizen List. Apologies to Minister Walkland. I have also corrected Jason Buchholtz's entry, as he is no longer Minister of Wargames.
I believe, actually, that Edison preferred his potatoes au gratin. But your point, whatever it is, is well taken.

I must admit no knowledge about the Wizard of Menlo Park's particular potato preferences, so I will take the esteemed Baron's word on the matter as above reproach. I would beg to point out, however, that Jesus expressed his desire for potato chips in particular when he said in Leviteuronomy 13:4, "And yea, let not him who has a thirst eat of the fried chip, for it is salty though good." Regardless, this is a matter for another day.
Mick, as self-appointed Dictator-for-the-Moment of M-M, I hereby request that you make a deputation to the province of your choice, preferably one of the more active ones such as Cezembre, and there establish our goodwill with them by means of a declaration of friendship and cooperation in the Talossan spirit. If you choose to accept this responsibility, I will be much obliged and will cry your praise in song.

So... seriously. Do it.
