Azul Citizens - The College of Arms will be presenting a list of citizens eligible for Independence Day Honours to King Louis Adam and Regent Dr. Rajala on 21 December 2005. By tradition of the College, this list includes a proposed blazon for each honoured citizen. Independence Day Hounours are granted by the Sovereign on 26 December. The deadline for inclusion on this list is to have a prospective escutcheon submitted to the College by noon TST on Saturday, 17 December 2005. For more information on how citizens can obtain a Coat of Arms, see the Mundane Petition of Arms section on the HOW TO GET A TALOSSAN COAT OF ARMS page. -- Jaune Sabre Herald, Dean, College of Arms

I previously submitted a request for arms for the covens of brianism in the kingdom. Has this request been put to consideration for the independence mundane petition for arms, or do I need to resubmit it here?
Arms: Argent, a standard circumpunct sable (a standard circumpunct is a circle with an outer edge radius of eight units with an inner edge radius of seven units, along with a central spot having a radius of one unit).
I have provided high and medium resolution images to Manus via email.

Dear Mr. Bailey -
No need to resubmit them here. The College is considering your request. Note that corporate arms (as opposed to invididual arms) are not traditionally part of the King's Independence Day Honours.

Since a circumpunct is not a standard heraldic device, is it okay to insert a term like "circumpunct" along with a necessary definition for that term into a blazon? An alternative would be to blazon it something like "a pellet within an annulet sable," but that would not guarantee the exact proportions of the components that S:r Bailey wants.

Please forgive my misunderstanding of the Independence day recognitions --- I certainly would not want the King to take action at an inappropriate time. Should the blazon for a cultural organization be considered business, then perhaps it is appropriate for those designations to be recognized on a quarterly basis, either the first business day or the last business day of a given fiscal quarter.
