Plank 5 of the platform on which my party stood reads: "...the Defence Ministry will get the Royal Bodyguard staffed, will get some commissions out to the privateers so they can loot and pillage with our national blessing and for our national honour, will double the size of the navy, will put on a whole lot of pompous military displays, fly a bunch of flags, march around a lot, and make a whole lot of noise about the Canadians."
With great pleasure, I am proud to announce that I have named (and His Majesty the King has appointed) Sir Trotxâ Betiñéir, UrN, the Minister of Defence for the Kingdom of Talossa.
Sir Trotxâ, serving previously in this position, has nearly single-handedly made our national defences (and more importantly, the Web pages that are our sham pretense of said defences) what they are today. God only knows what he will do for them and us tomorrow, but we'll find out soon enough, because I don't know about where you might happen to be as I write this, but it's very dark here, and tomorrow is only a couple hours away.
I now ask that our nation join me in congratulating Sir Trotxâ and offering him our best wishes and our best efforts in support of his execution of the duties he now resumes.
