Can I point out something here that I hope the SoS Glüc da Dhi will confirm.
I now understand that both Florencia and Fiova's Senäts seats are up for relection with the 54th Cosa. I knew about Fiova, and I had been girding my loins for a legal battle if the merger went through but the Senator from Florencia "refused to budge". But given that the two provinces are elected together this time, it would be the perfect, most convenient time for the merger to go through.
With the Governor's hopefully legally watertight endorsement/transmission of the Merger Resolution to the Kingstable, a two-week clock is now ticking. I still fully expect a veto within that period of time, but I reiterate my challenge to Gödafrïeu Válcadác’h: if the veto happens, you donate $US25 to Syrian Civil Defence aka the White Helmets. If it doesn't, I'll do the same for a charity of your choice.
