One more day to vote. If the deadline comes without a fifth vote, whoever votes next will end the voting as a quorum will be reached.

As no other Senator has cast a fifth vote, and given that I've let a further week pass, I will cast that vote myself.
I therefore cast my vote with the Përs, and close the voting period.
The Përs were 4, the Contrâs were 1; so the Përs have it and the Sense of the Senate is adopted.

I was going to write a long diatribe, but I like to think I'm wise enough to know this is neither the place, though the time is appropos.
Many apologies for somehow missing this vote. I would have voted për. I have many reasons for supporting the negation of Ben's readmission, and had it come to a formal vote in the Ziu, I would have voted likewise.
In response to Sen. Plätschisch's concerns, I deem them valid. That being said, I think it will be important for posterity to know there was a clear concensus, if not a landslide one, in this house as to the disposition of the matter of Ben's return. Our breath was not wasted here.
For myself, had Ben shown true contrition regarding Kane, I think Kane would have said something on Wittenberg about it. Had Ben reached out to Art Verbotten, I think Art would have done something like that through various channels.
Had Ben done such a thing, the debate in this house and in Talossan in general might have gone differently. As it was, Ben through his 'reintroduction' statement ensured his application was dead-on-arrival.
Sen. da Schir, thank you for allowing us this vote and an official voice to speak out on what really has been a grave matter for all of us as Talossans. I am not glad of the way things panned out, but I am satisfied the best was done here and throughout Talossa in a very difficult situation.
GV, Fiôvâ
