Electoral Commission, where are you on certifying the results? I'd like to get everything scribed and archived this coming week. Thanks, all! - GV, Scribe, etc. The deadline (if there is no extension) is 14 days after the election deadline, so the end of April 15th. Discussions are ongoing (there is a lot to discuss), but at this point I would not expect the election to be certified a lot earlier than the deadline. Thanks for this, and no worries. I am happy to wait.

Viteu MarcianüsSir Alexandreu DavinescuE.S. BornatfiglheuV and I have had several big arguments over the years. Tempers have been lost and names have been called. On one hand I regret most of that and wish it hadn't all happened the way it did. On the other hand we have grew from it and learned a lot. I certainly like and respect him today, which I probably couldn't have said five years ago. From my side of the street, I finally learned to let go of the personal grudge aspect that fueled the fights. I no longer feel a personality clash or a battle of big egos between us. V is V, I am me, and I guess we both decided to live and let live. What didn't happen though .... In the end there wasn't a "winner". There wasn't any preaching about how one was right and one was wrong from either side. We had our final blows then both resigned to go our ways then found ourselves in a better place later on. Take from this what you will.

Yeah, I could get on board with that, but only if I get to make the National Anthem something cool like an Aerosmith song. And, I want Court Jesters! (is the plural Court Jesters or Courts Jester ??) ... I'm thinking a troupe of jesters with Ricky Gervais, Billy Connolly, Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Bridges and Jimmy Carr. I'm also abolishing the Ziu. As King, I think I would just view parliament as an inconvenience. Also, I want everyone to wear fedoras.

Take from this what you will. It's mutual. We had our fights. We eventually moved it to messages and the resolution came about through airing the grievances, acknloweding each other's feelings, and using that to interact in a more positive way. You're right, neither of us won. At the end of the day, it wasn't about winning, but clearing the air so we could develop the respect that we have today.

V —
For some time now, every single post you have made includes an assertion — or what would be read by someone unfamiliar with the facts as an assertion — that I have in some way questioned the OrgLaw's provision that someone can be expelled from Talossa only by the unanimous action of the Uppermost Cort. Which is untrue. I don't think I can expel anyone; I don't even think that you think I think that.
I have, over and over, said that *of course* I have no power to expel anyone from Talossa. You say, over and over, that I think I do. You are being dishonest; this is somewhat disheartening, and does not serve constructive discourse. Stop it, please.

The results as listed in the first post of this thread, the raw provincial votes as listed on the database and the senatorial results as posted on the boards of Atatürk, Cézembre and Florencia have been certified by the Electoral Commission. Glüc da Dhi Secretary of State

Stop it, please. — John R John, No. When you took it upon yourself to suspend my account, you effectively expelled me from Talossan life with only you as the arbiter of when that expulsion should be lifted. Again, you broke the Organic Law. So again, you're lying. You continuously question the authority of the courts and its jurisprudence from the proclamation crisis. You continuously assert that Wittiquette gives you powers in excess of our Organic Law. And you maintain that only you can lead Talossa. John, you're a liar. You lied in this post just as you lied with your nonsense about equal protection/due process. I no longer think you have any good intention left in you. You're lashing out because I'm openly and without concern floutong my contempt for you clinging to power. You're a cancer to this country. We'd all be better once you realized it. So John, stop it. You're a liar. You're consumed with your own ego. And you are a cancerous stain on Talossa. I. Don't. Relent. To. Liars. Welcome to free speech, John. I won't let you gaslight me and I won't let you King Ben me. I'm not going anywhere. Get used to it. Talossa's Faithful Servant, V

I think it's pretty obvious that XVI.12 refers to loss of citizenship, not temporary loss of access to an internet forum. Am I a liar?
At the time, most Talossans seemed to agree with the action. Other have argued the Ziu should temporarily ban members from the hopper when needed. Are they all lying?

Those Talossans who agreed with the expulsion are hypocrites. I've called them that before. This is nothing new. You either support parliamentary immunity and free speech or your support the King having unilateral and supraOrganic authority to regulate the Legislature. But you can't have both. And supporting my expulsion while claiming to respect an MZs right to engage in a debate as they wish is pure hypocrisy and dishonesty to Talossa. I have set my terms- John must abdicate. He's proven himself a consummate liar that puts his own lust for power above the better needs of Talossa. I'm not going anywhere, so brace for years of this feud. The deceitful monarch will blink well before I do.

Even though Glüc's interpretation is not obvious, neither is yours; a debate must be had (and in fact, is being had) and calling someone who has done nothing but work to improve Talossa for years a "liar" just because they have interpreted a potentially ambiguous portion of the Organic Law in a different way than you did is not going to help anything. Regardless of opinions toward the King, this is an unfortunate approach to Talossa. Can you, in good conscience, actually recommend that people immigrate to Talossa right now? Note that I am not saying that such a feud is or isn't warranted (if I said it wasn't based on this logic, I would be appealing to consequences); I am posing a simple question. Do you believe, given your willingness to engage in years-long strife, that Talossa will nonetheless continue to be an enjoyable place to spend one's free time?

Talossa won't be enjoyable until John abdicates. The question you pose is properly posed to John--given the divisive figure he is, does remaining King trump Talossa's well being? I have no interest in engaging this quasi-centrist nonsense. John abdicates or the feud continues. He's an avowed liar and cancer to Talossa. You want to make Talossa fun again, quit your commentary at me and support removing John. It's literally that simple.

That seems extreme. Plenty of people who are opposed to the King have for quite a while managed at least to continue having fun.
Nevertheless, it is currently your opinion that people should not immigrate to Talossa because it is not fun?
