So, I decided to mix two fields I like (Biology and Linguistics) and propose some words to Talossan related to zoology. I don't know if these words will be used one day, but I would like to know if they look Talossan and what do you think of them, and also suggestions for possible future words.
Andean short-faced bear: ucumar. From Quechua ukumari 'bear'.
Arctic fox: fielreu. From Norwegian fjellrev 'mountain fox'.
Asian wild dog: ðoll. From English dhole, another name for this especie.
Caiman: xhacaré. From Tupi îakaré 'caiman', via Portuguese jacaré 'caiman, alligator'.
Mite: ácarul. From Latin acarus, 'mite'.
Red panda: panda da feu. Calque of firefox, another name for the especie, influenced by red panda.
River dolphin: botüm. From Portuguese boto 'dolphin', of unknown origins; I created a pseudo-etymology as it was from a hypothetycal Latin word botum.
Sea lion: liun marineu. Calque of sea lion.
Sloth bear: melursüm. From the scientific name Melursus ursinus, influenced by Talossan ursüm.

Just a slight thing: shouldn't it be xhacarè with a grave accented è, since it's at the end of the word?

Just a slight thing: shouldn't it be xhacarè with a grave accented è, since it's at the end of the word? If I understood well, it's a matter of aesthetics, but if it's preferable to use è instead é at end of word, then be spelled xhacarè.
