Do we have standards of forms of address for the Royal family, the nobility and those with titles? I know there are some standards for the Royals in the Talossan language material, but the nobility has massively expanded in the post-KR1 period.
Can I start by pointing out that in the countries which share a monarchy with the United Kingdom, the way you address a knight or a dame is by their unabbreviated first name. Thus, former Prime Minister of NZ Bill Rowling became "Sir Wallace" when he got a knighthood. So in Talossa's context, that's Sir Alexandreu, Sir Cresti, Sir Trotxa, Dama Miestra. Can we accept that as Talossan standard?

I think that is an excellent suggestion. Nobility, after all, should be noble.
My son's name is "Benjamin" - but we call him "Benno" or "Benji". "Sir Benno" does not, somehow, sound right!
I Mick your standard suggestion.

Thanks. I thought previous governments had decided that website was to be deprecated and to redirect to the Wiki? This will need to be dealt with post-election when we once again have a MinSTUFF (who exactly has been updating it? Marti-Pair Furxheir S.H., was it you?)

I am presently Minister of STUFF, but I hope to quickly hand that off after the election to someone who can better deal with it than I. I am busy enough in my spare time with Witt-archiving and other matters.

No objection. I agree that there was a big flush of nobility, but a lot of that was in response to historically huge events (like Reunision, which got you yours, justly!)

I have to re-iterate that a Knighthood is not an order of nobility. We had that in the KR1 days. And the only way I use my membership in UrN is when conservatives call me "Dama Miestra" because they know it annoys me.

As well as ways in which we address those who have earned ranks of Nobility is there not also a proper way to address those who are in charge? I am new so forgive my ignorance but how do we address someone such as a member of the government?

And I don't call you "Dama Miestra" to annoy you. I'm sorry if I have. I try to be respectful and correct. — John R
