I want to propose a new flag for our glorious province. I was long pondering this idea, because it didn't seem right to me that Cézembrean flag is identical to the flag of Bretagne. Cézembre is not Bretagne, though of course it has some shared heritage with it, and this too should be reflected. Cézembre, however, is a sovereign Talossan territory. I wanted my proposal flag to reflect the fact that Cézembre is a Crown territory, and ideally I wanted it to embody our two cantons. This is what I came up with. If it pleases our citizen, I will put it for a referendum. This needs an amendment to our Constitution, a 2/3 PËR vote of our L'États, majority of referendum votes and an approval by Governor-General. Thanks for your attention. Sénéchal

To me, the proposed new flag looks excellent. We may also choose (without obligation) to have subordinate variations for the main island cantons and/or for the external islands and/or for the more distant parts of Cézembre - but whether or not we choose any of those, the proposed new main flag looks really good.

I will think whether I can come up with more variants and then I will try to conduct of referendum (though the potential turnout kind of worries me).
