At one point, somewhere else on Witt, there was a discussion about coffee and tea. Someone (I think it was Miestrâ) suggested purity laws for tea. I think the plan was to create national purity laws but I don't see why we couldn't do it first.
Is that something we won't to do? Or should we let the Ziu take care of that?

Why don’t you explain the concept of purity laws?

It was mentioned in the Chat Room. Here's a linkIt had to do with a legal distinction between pure tea and herbal teas/herbal infusions. Anglatzarâ made the initial suggestion and Schivâ compared it to some French regulation. She also suggested some terms for said distinction. I like it.

Well, it's not a legal distinction, it's just that French and other languages strongly distinguish between tea (a brew based on Camellia sinensis, in French thé) and any other herbal infusion (in French, tisane). We should definitely have that distinction in Talossa. While I'm at it, I'd like to propose a Talossan coffee standard. Audradă can inform us about what kind of coffee is standard in the GTA - probably that filter-coffee stuff, but what do most Talossans drink? As a patriotic New Zealand, I prefer the flat white (like a latté, only kind of not)

I only ever drink it for the taste since it never seems to have any affect on my energy.

I'd say that filter coffee is most common but it's not the only game in town. Side note: When I get back to the 'Prop', I'm going to check out Alderaan Coffee. Just thought I'd let you know.
