As a not-yet-Florencian, I have been reading the provincial constitution. Is there a Governor appointed yet? If so, who is it? If not, who is going to compose the Nimlet (and, for that matter, appoint a Governor?) Edit: is there no Florencian who is both qualified (constitutionally) and willing to serve / be appointed as Governor?

It seems that someone must either... A) Petition Constable Dame Litz Cjantscheir, UrN to return from inactivity and appoint a new Governor forthwith (filling the current vacancy); B) Petition King King John to appoint a new Constable forthwith, who in turn would appoint a new Governor; or C) Petition King King John to appoint a new Governor now, so as to compose the Nimlet, and find a Constable later. So, uh... what to do?

You should be able to reach Cunstaval Litz - someone is bound to have her contact details.

As someone new here (not even a citizen yet), I know neither the means to contact her, nor a person who would. So, er... And, for realz, is anyone willing and able to step up and be a Governor anyways? That’s the crux of the problem. The last Governor went AFK, and then Dame Litz Cjantscheir, UrN dismissed him but couldn’t find a qualified successor. Who ‘lives’ in Florencia anyhow?

But she hasn’t been online for several months D: She was last online today. Ironically, her last Witt post was about this very issue (the unreliability of "last online" dates in users' profiles).

Only an houe ago, too! Which means that she should have seen this thread. Hmmmmmmmmm. Okay. A PM I shall send. Anyone know anybody else who is qualified and willing to be appointed Governor? That’s part #2 of this dilemma. Does the database tell me which provinces people ‘live’ in?

Does the database tell me which provinces people ‘live’ in? I would suggest you take it a little slow, read about the Kingdom and then be eligible to become a citizen, and then a citizen. People live in almost all provinces. I say almost because Pengopats is uninhabited by humans. You can find the particulars of any person by clicking on his profile name. Btw, who's your guide appointed by the Immigration?

Pengopats isn't a province.

I would suggest you take it a little slow [emphasis added], read about the Kingdom and then be eligible to become a citizen, and then a citizen. That is the opposite of what we need. All prospective and current citizens can benefit from reading more about the Kingdom, but we need life! Action! Especially in a province like Florencia, a province, which, I think has only managed to even form a single government since I immigrated two years ago, and hasn't passed a single bill for longer than that. Taking it slow is why new immigrants leave.

Yes, the database does tell you what province people are assigned to. Let me know if need any help navigating it. Specifically, the list of citizens at talossa.ca. You can sort by province. The blue entries are the current, voting-age citizens.
