]So, I need a Senator, a Justice of the Cort, and one normal citizen. I propose Ian Anglaztra as the normal citizen, since he is apolical, our minister of Immigration, and a former SoS. For Senator not up for election, I propose Gödafrïeu Válcadác'h, for his level headeness, his qualities as an Historian, his near apoloticalness. For a member of the Cort, I would like to know which one is the most present. Ian and Gödafrïeu , are you interested? I'm not completely sure what you mean by "the most present", but I am frequently dropping in to Witt to catch up on the news. Am I of use here?

For any appointment from the Court, it is generally the CJ's prerogative to assign. Thus it should have been : "For a member of the Cort, I would like to have one who is the most present". Whereby the request is made, as well as the requirement stated.

If you ignore the actual text of the relevant statute for the Electoral Commission, usefully quoted earlier in this thread, sure, you could make that erroneous assumption.

Yes. I make that erroneous assumption because the laws of Talossa in recent past have been botched up.
It actually requires a thorough cleansing under the Monarchist government rule.
Look forward to that day.

Look forward to that day. What are you referring to here? That you don't like the substance of recent laws, or that the formatting has errors now and again? If the former, with regard to EC reform, if we had to wait for the Cort to nominate someone no matter how long it took, the representative for the Cort may never have been appointed. If the latter, what does the monarchy have to do with it?

BenArd, you recently spoke of decorum in- and outside of Cort. I will tend to disagree to some extent, but: You are a Justice, thus always a representative of the Corts. It is your duty to reflect your position within and without with the utmost integrity. Saying that the laws were “botched” is, allow this observation, most unhinged and outrageous a statement, coming from a supposedly impartial Justice. You can voice your opinion, sure; but not by making an emotional, and qualitatively valuing comment as to the aptitude of our country’s lawmakers.
Instead of owning up to the fact that you have not recently followed the newest updates in Talossan law (and, I can make allowances for that: our rate of updates and changes to the law is abZurdly high), and that you have not bothered to fully read the contents of this thread (these are very long contents, to be fair) before commenting thereupon — with a very superior demeanour towards the SoS, I might add, for which I cannot make allowances —, you chose to chuck the blame to the nearest-possible culprit.
Pettiness is not a nice trait to have, dear BenArd.

Pettiness is not a nice trait to have, dear BenArd. Let's not forget his signature banner, in which he still complains that I removed him as Deputy SoS years ago, despite the fact that I became the actual SoS, and that the deputy SoS can be fired at will. Is that behavior fully compatible with being on the cort? I am asking, it's not a rhetorical question... I believe you can be on the Cort and impartial and still take part in debates and still exist as an individual, you seem to think otherwise.

So, I have added the members of the EC to the result page: www.talossa.ca/files/election_result.phpThis means these people can login to : www.talossa.ca/files/login.phpIf you can't login, tell me... I will reset your password. Ideally, tell me which password to use. And then go to the election result page: www.talossa.ca/files/election_result.phpTo validate the ballots. Here is the way I do it, you can do it any way you want, but I find it's the most efficient. 1 ) All of the votes with the method "psc" are automatic, and do NOT need actual validation of the content of the vote. All you need to see is if (apart for my wife and my daugther) they have an IP address different than mine to make sure I didn't cheat. Spoilers: I didn't. Note, mu IP is 192.222.245.[hidden]. You can easily just click valid for all 95 of them. 2 ) All of the other votes, such as a the votes on Witt, which require checking that I properly entered them.

As of this moment, I, Ián Tamorán S.H., have examined all of the Votes (except those sent by mail) cast for the 51st Cosa, and am able to verify that - all of the "pic" votes are valid - none of the "mail" votes have, as yet, been inspected, and - three of the "witt" votes are doubtful - one has been entered incorrectly, and two which are in the database are nowhere visible in witt. All other "witt" votes are valid.
I am sending a PM to our S.o.S. to seek clarification, and I shall keep Talossa informed.
Note that although messages sent are, for the moment, private, they may be made public at any time if there is a reasonable request that they be revealed.

Mystery solved. the two mistaken votes were for my daugther and I!!!
I voted and since I was logged in as SoS, I forgot I had to put PSC as the vote type: I used the "Enter a Witt Vote" form and not the "Citizen voting form".
After voting, I asked my daugther if she wanted to vote, and she did, using the same form, making the same error.
I fixed the entries

I'm seeing one Witt vote with no corresponding Witt vote thread entry, and marked invalid one incorrectly-entered Witt vote (on Referendum 5).

I have fixed the Referendum 5, and reset the validation entries (so you need to revalidate it)
